So does “resuming the original schedule” mean that the BE isn’t being extended til Mon. 11/8? :( Really bummed & frustrated that HPWU staff don’t seem to be interested/able to fix this issue and so many of us aren’t going to be able to complete this event
I have exactly the same problem as PANDA00004, still no update on when it will be resolved and how we will be able to finish task. I have always finished tasks including the additional task will not be vey happy if this is the one i dont especially as the story is ending it just wont be complete and I will be missing part of storyline
@hpwulola based on the tweet, it looks like it’s being added to a future event. An event I may or may not be able to play because of muggle life. Can’t we get 15 RSB just added to our accounts instead?
Since brilliant traces and portkeys were still appearing on the map even though the task lists were missing… I specifically placed every single thing I could on the brilliant registry page anyway. I placed all but the bonus item.
@HPWUTeam I don’t even expect all the game rewards, just the books. Especially the Restricted Section Books! Come on, guys! ✨

Just to be clear though, and thanks to the intrepid @suspendedfate, there's a lot more than that was lost by not being able to participate in the brilliant event, including:
4,500 Wizarding XP
300 Brilliant Event XP
220 Gold coins
80 Spell energy
15 Resticted Section Books
10 Defense Against the Dark Arts Books
5 Red Spell Books
5 BE Portkey stickers
2 Wit Sharpening potions
2 Silver keys
1 Extimulo potion
1 Strong Extimulo potion
1 Potent Extimulo potion
1 Dawdle Draught potion
1 Registry sticker
1 Badge
Some of these things are relatively easily available, but if at all possible it would be very helpful to receive the badge for event completion, the coins (that's at least a capacity upgrade's worth), the DADA and red spell books, and the silver keys in addition to the sticker and RSB. Now that we know there is an endgame, many players have goals they are trying to achieve in game and those resources in particular would all be helpful in that quest. Thanks so much!

I have sympathy for those missing the tasks but I think you'd have a different frustration!
Also since the update brewing potions takes longer again. After the announcement about the game closing they took less time (about half?) Now they're back up to full brew time again?
@hpwulola Hi, I updated and downloaded all assets today but since then I’ve not gotten any Brilliant Event Foundables. I wasted two Tonics for Trace Detection just now and got no Brilliant Foundables. What am I to do? It’s now impossible to finish the event.
@hpwulola Please convince them to extend the event again and fix the issue with no brilliant spawns with TTDs and the other issues before moving on to the Adversaries event. You've always been helpful to the player base and supportive of us 👍🏻
I will not be Finnish with the brilliant event. My returner foundables is not counting and I have to restart the game all the time.
when I’m in the nightbus the game crash. And the task page is not there so I can’t see if the things i return is counting. Please help me? I want to finnish I’m so close. I’m in the bonus page.
Ha didn’t fix anything. the brillant foundables stopped showing up the last day as did Dumbledores. Couldn’t finish bonuses. Now the advsaries are crashing and. I can finish that. ???
It has been a week and we have missed out on plenty of resources like @Panda00004 pointed out. Some people could even have used these RSB or DADA to purchase lethal lessons and avoids those bugs. Should we expect to receive something? I tried asking support if they could give me the missing resources, at least RSB even if it’s not everything, but they ask us to ask for help here. What can we do about the missing resources and images?
I really wanted to end the game with happy memories of finishing lessons and defeating the calamity.
I have tried all means to get someone to help us. Looks like one time we actually get a response is when we tag @OlgaMalfoy and @AltarielValice , so trying that as well.
Can we get any response about the brilliant event from last week and all the fragments and all the resources that went missing.

I appreciate that you're looking towards me for assistance but I don't think there's anything I can do to get a response, apart from tagging @hpwulola or sending a dm But I suspect that the team is probably asleep right now.🙂
Also, other heads up afaik olgah Malfoy is a local that I usually just direct announcements to the users local TG group but I'm unsure if she communicates directly to the team. (I'll stand corrected!) Just I'd recommend not tagging just in case it causes some miscommunication or unnecessary drama. (I was caught in the cross fire twice already.) 😅
I’ve been posting for over a week, and this post too was done during west coast business hours. I understand you, @AltarielValice or @OlgaMalfoy aren’t on any official capacity, but saw a few threads where you were tagged and moderators were immediately on it for whatever reasons. So if tagging you gets the team to notice, thought I would try that. I have tagged the @HPWUTeam on a number of occasions on this thread and the other one on this topic, but can’t seem to get their attention to give back the RSBs and other resources we missed. It’s frustrating that you complete everything for over 2 years and then get banned from even attempting an event. All that’s left is a gaping white hole in the registry and being behind on RSBs to complete the lessons.
In case you weren’t aware, this issue has been going on from 11:30am on November 1 when the tasks first disappeared. There has been no official responses on what to do. I know people who hoped for HPWU to respond or turn on the event and didn’t catch the exploration foundables either. I personally waited until Wednesday as well and I’m glad I caught some foundables and opened portkeys in the time that was left. It’s now only one white hole and a shortage of resources. I would really have loved to finish my SOS lesson plans, but maybe they don’t care.
I know the game is ending, but why treat as as unwanted customers? It certainly gives me a bad taste and what to expect from other portkey games and Niantic offerings.
@OlgaMalfoy it is hard for people who had the event work as usual to understand the issue that those of us who couldn’t play the event and not even get a response. It’s a whole brilliant event, so plenty of missed resources, including 15 RSB and ability to finish the registry.

Contacting support directs me back to this post. It’s not helpful that we have no reply from any media.
@HPWUTeam please tell us what to do about the:
1) Incomplete brilliant registry
2) 15 RSBs
3) Brilliant storyline
4) other brilliant event rewards like gold and potions
I have the same problem, the app update did not fix the task list. I can't play this event properly and I will miss part of the storyline.
Please, make sure we don't miss the storyline now that the game is going to end.

I been trying to get the rewards but the brilliant task is not even show unless you now how to compensate this issue!

@Taliaz everything seems to being ignored, now that the game is pending death.
Water and seed spawns are gone from the map. Makes out difficult to brew exstim potions when it also feels like snowdrop spawns were turned down.
