Why is it so hard to play this game now? I'm a player from day 1 but all the glitches, AS not working and now not being able to log in the game when an event has started. Different day, different glitch. I think I'm done.
I can't login with Facebook and am missing out on the event since I can't play because of it. With this one being short and the adventure sync still being down I'm getting really nervous about completing the event. I have been able to complete all of the event pages from the beginning and will be really upset if this breaks my streak! I don't think my ocd could take it.
Same issue. Samsung s8+.cant log in theough facebook. It leepa kicking me back to the birthdate screen. I hope they extend the event since so many are not able to log in.
tried to re-download Ingress, but apparently i have two accounts and they cannot be links. Downloaded pokemon Go, created an account and when i tried to link it says my FB account already has a pokemon account... what?!! So i cannot use the workaround to try to link FB accounts in their other games. Almost level 54, might be a sign this game is done
It's almost 8:30 pm ET and I still can't login. I don't want to d/l another Niantic game and an elaborate workaround to get into the game. Here's hoping it will be fixed by tomorrow at the latest.

I emailed Niantic about the issue, so far no response. I tried troubleshooting, uninstalling, reinstalling nothing has worked.

same issue here as everyone else. Cannot sign in using Facebook on iPhone. Deleted and reinstalled FB and WU and same problem. Seems widespread

Almost 10 pm eastern and still can't get in here. So frustrating!
I STILL can't get in! It's just an endless loop of bouncing between the HPWU app and the FB app!
Update: I just deleted and reloaded the app and it's STILL not working! I've also restarted my phone multiple times. This is ridiculous.
