When I am in a chamber and try to use a potion, it kicks me out of the game and won't let me re-enter the chamber. I'm losing runestones and I can't complete events. This is ridiculous.
At least 50% of the time when I use a potion, I get an error "An error has occurred with the wireless network. Please try again." This makes playing any challenge beyond a simple one impossible to complete. This started last week for me. I'm tired of wasting runestones and spell energy.
I have tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling as well as restarting my phone, but it continues to happen.
I've been affected by the bug where you are kicked out of Wizarding Fortress of you use a potion and tap too quickly afterwards without waiting for the bubbles to disappear. I've lost tons of potent potions and gold buying those potions. Will there be refunds for this bug? The game is unplayable because even if I don't get kicked out, all of my teammates inevitably get kicked out because of this bug and I'm unable to pass Dark V to complete the extra event.
This is happening constantly as an auror. Pretty much every challenge. But not often when I switch ba k to magizooligist. It's after I go to use a potion, not every potion. Not always the same potion. Pretty much never the first potion. But it errors out and I have to restart, and it does NOT take me back to the fortress. It just puts me back on the regular map. It's quite annoying and messed up! My energy and my potions were used for nothing! VERY FRUSTRATED!!!!!!
And there is nothing wrong with my wireless network, BTW.
I'm at level 60, been playing since day 1. These last couple weeks is the 1st time I've ever not completed an event due to all the bugs. I couldn't complete the adversaries event with iron belly.
-Energy gifts freeze the game and forces restart.
-Using potions in fortress and adversaries freezes game and forces restart plus losing all progress in that battle/adversary chain.
-Adventure sync still does not work and hasn't worked for months now 😔
-Using potions in special 1920's portkey foundables freezes game and forces restart
So I've lost all that portkey distance and portkey space, which is so much harder without adventure sync.
I have submitted several chats with support, they asked for screenshots but closed out my conversation when I didn't reply right away. I don't have the game open 24/7. My other chats explaining the bugs are ignored and I'm just in a chat loop with no response from Niantic.
This happened to me three times today as a Magizoologist. And I had the exact same issue of it happening when I go to use a potion, but not necessarily the first one nor the same type. My many apologies to the people with which I was attempting to clear Dark Chamber V: I did not mean to abandon you!

The application crashes when battling dark chamber fortresses and using potions. When the game comes back online, it doesn't put me back in the fortresses like it did in previous versions. This puts the team I was battling with at a severe disadvantage. This is also extremely wasteful of the resources, time, and effort put into this game.
In middle of battle with an Adversary. Go to use a potion and restart button appears during battle with 3rd Adversary and shuts down. Do not get credit for 3rd battle and would have defeated final Adversary in the chain. Also loose a potion. Thus has happened multiple times 6 or 7. Very frustrating
Honestly, when will this be fixed please? It removes any chance of lasting in difficult stages of Fortresses, and assisting fully. It makes fighting in Fortresses an "un-fun" aspect of the game now.
I have been kicked out of a dozen battles this week alone. Touching the screen after using a potion causes an error that forced restart. Can’t rejoin battle. So many wasted potions, so much lost time, so many screwed teammates. Niantic needs to fix this ASAP and credit accounts!
I have had the same issue. It crashes and then I lose out on previous potions, rune stones, gifts and XP. It sucks and I am so over it. It does it when I use the night bus or in person

I am repeatedly getting errors during upper level chambers when using potions that force a restart. I loose the runestone, energy, and any consumed potions as well as progress on the level. This has happened over 7 times.
Also my mysteries are not working been playing for months and still have not made progress on the second step of mysteries.
My app keeps crashing during Wizarding Battles. I use potions during them, then I get booted out with an error saying that the app needs to be restarted. Once it reboots, I’m kicked out of the level and lose the potions, progress, and XP that I would have gained once I had finished it. This happened 3 times yesterday and twice so far today. I’m trying to get the 7,000 XP for the event but I keep getting kicked out of my Forest 5 battles when I’m over half way done. It’s happened when I’m part of a group too.

I just had that happen too, when I activated a Strong Exstimulo in a Forest IV. I got kicked out and lost valuable fight time before getting back into the chamber. And it just happened again in another Forest IV, and I wasn't even trying to use a potion. I would have played a lower chamber but I need to get the Team Ireland Weasley fragments and I don't have enough Brilliant runestones to waste on random chance. I have a bad feeling that this is going to be another painful event in terms of having to play Fortresses. I know this is on the "bug" list to be fixed but I'll still squawk about it until it's fixed.
This us App crashing has been happening frequently outside of the Wizarding challenge and I should have posted earlier, but just now I was just booted out of dark v challenge after investing multiple potions and a level 5 rune stone! I am getting sick of wasting resources, at least in the past when you logged back in you would go back into the challenge, but anymore! I am getting very frustrated with this game

About every other time I use a potion in the fortress I get an error message stating the game needs to restart

When I use potions in wizard challenges and adversaries, it gives me an error and kicks me out. I always then can’t return to the challenge

For me, it's also happening whenever I use a potion to catch a foundable. It kicks me out & restarts the game

Getting error message using an estimulo potion on a foundable. Forces me to restart the game AND takes my potion!
BTW, the error message and crash happened in the first attempt with this foundable.

I’m having the same issue with Dark Chamber I (trying to get Harry Potter wands). Lost many potent & string exstimulo potions. Please fix this!
