I also have had this happen to me. Once today and 3 times previously. Only once did it put me back into the chamber. It is very frustrating as it seems to happen when I am in the higher chambers, after using a lot of potions.
Same error just happened to me as well while battling in the forest chamber. Lost 2 strong invigoration potions and 1 strong exstimulo potion. Also occurred when battling a werewolf and selecting an exstimulo potion. Happened to me in prior events as well. In the past when I get the restart error and I log back in it takes me back to the chamber. Not the case anymore.
I have been in the highest chamber Dark Forrest 5 for the bonus page of the event. It doesn't matter if I'm with people in the chamber or not, the game restarts. Not only does it restart but, it doesn't put me back in the challenge and I can't complete it.
Please tell me this can get fixed soon. I've restarted the game, my phone and uninstalled and reinstalled the game with no luck.

I’ve been kicked out of dark 5 chamber 5 times in the last day, which is a required task in the bonus tasks for the event. 3 were outside, and 2 were inside on WiFi. For 4/5, multiple other team members were affected. I’m a day one player and I’m honestly ready to check out completely based on how many problems this game has.
Just happened to me, too. Our one magizoologist disappeared after we had started fighting and a bit later, I got an error and restart message and was kicked out. I feel bad for the other three who were all aurors.

The Restart error is worse than ever. I experience it multiple times a day, and it usually happens right after I select a potion to use. It happens whether I'm in an ordinary encounter, a fortress battle or an adversary battle. I've lost numerous runestones or encounter/fortress points to this error.
In the past, a fortress error would bring you back into the battle after the app reboots, but this didn't happen today. I lost the complete battle. Can something be done since the error is really bad now (multiple times a day, as I mentioned). Thank you.
I was kicked out of Dark 1 twice in a row (making that 4 times in the last few days). Not only did I lose Runestones I was robbed of potions by getting dropped from the tower runs.
The latest update is super buggy for me. I have this with extimulo and strong extimulo. Been booted from two highest-chamber events, and several confoundable enounters during the Prisoner of the Vow event.
Played this from the start. Enjoy the game. This bug is not enjoyable.
I keep getting booted out or forced to restart the game when in a fortress dark chamber. Screen is telling me it’s an issue with my wireless network but will also occur when connected to my home wifi.
Three times in a row I ended up alone, or with one other wizard, in the middle of a fight in the Knight Bus where we started with a lot more wizards. So, although using plenty of potions without being kicked out, it still ended in wasted energy, potions and rune stones.
Just bought spell energy, used about 4 strong exstimulo potions, 2 mediums, and 3 strong invigoration ones and was kicked out of dark v with two hits left on my last foe - chamber timed out by the time in reloaded, so I lost all of it 😡
During 4 combat encounters (3 Wizarding Challenges and 1 Adversary encounter) the game has crashed and kicked me back to the home screen (no Resume Encounter message and unable to get back in the same encounter if I reentered the Knight Bus) on reloading after using a potion. It has happened with Strong Invigoration, Healing, and Wit Sharpening potions. I was able to use a Potent Exstimulo on an Adversary encounter with no issues but then the game crashed on using a Wit Sharpening potion in the same encounter

I am getting more and more frustrated with this game. Several times during this event I have been kicked out of a fortress after trying to activate a potion. The error screen pops up and then makes me restart the app to play again. I then lose the runestone used to enter the fortress, the spell energy used in that fortress and any potion I did happen to be able to use. I now do not have enough runestones to finish the current event.

When I started a twins foundable I tried activating a potion and it firced me out of the game.

This is unacceptable! One of these frustrations will be the end of me supporting Niantic. Known errors exist for weeks! ****?!?!
