This event is horribly boring. I’d also like to remind people that we have a whole set of dark mark challenge registry pages we have not had access to yet. And we’re still waiting for the second set of lessons that has been “coming soon” for two years. Also, the Knight Bus was really well-received when it’s started. But glitches, a lack of any sort of team coordinating and communication system, and a lack of basic instructions INSIDE THE GAME for how to approach team challenges soured many of us. Why doesn’t @HPWUTeam put effort into making what we have better, rather than inventing something that seems only designed to make us spend money.
My 63rd portkey finally gave me my 2nd non-encounter foundable! Woo!
This is beginning to become a real disappointment... come on and get it sorted! Can't even do the intended gameplay for the event and prestige pages, even if you do spend money on silver keys!
@PiggyWitch The 1920’s Portkeys will go for a while after this. You can still keep them if you put a key in them. Any without a key will vanish.
I saw in one of @XpectoGO ’s videos he mentioned that the @HPWUTeam are planning to do 1920’s events twice a month so hopefully you’re recovered for September’s ones.

It really sucks that I’m literally bedridden and this is the time they choose to have an event based solely on going around outside. I had to have my friend take my phone with him to the store and back just to unlock some old portmanteaus. How (literally) lame is that? 🙄 Sorry, stupid joke, but I make myself laugh.
This was the first event I was unable to complete due to the game barely tracking any distance.
While I'm massively disappointed in failing through no fault of my own I'm wondering if you can release any dialog that appeared during the event so those of us who have no distance tracking working and therefore had an impossible event to complete don't also miss out on being able to follow the story.
I opened over 80 portkeys (at last count), I only got 4 non encounter fragments, all of which were the Lestrange Family Tree. The drop rate for the non encounter fragments is HORRENDOUSLY low. That was the only page I was even able to get to bronze despite walking miles each day. Also, the encounter fragments weren't very evenly distributed. For example, I got 12 Credence encounters, but only 3 Nagini and 3 kappas.
Please for next time increase the drop rate of non-encounter fragments and even out the rest. Overall fun event and now I need to rest my sore feet.
Two of my portkeys that I only picked up two hours ago disappeared, so I had no chance to try to stuff a key in. I don't understand, because other portmanteaus did not do this.
Where did my portmanteaus go? I still have 3 hours before the event ends in my area to unlock them, and the 8 I had in inventory are gone. @hpwulola@HPWUTeam
@hpwulola@HPWUTeam The event is still ongoing for me and I had at least one other portmanteau, possibly two, in my inventory and it just disappeared when I unlocked the one I had my gold key in! I see others have had the same issue so it's apparently some sort of bug and frustrating with only a few hours left. Also nothing but regular portmanteaus on my map now so I'm wondering if the event ended earlier than planned by some mistake?
On at least 4 occasions when I picked up a 1920s portmanteau but didn't put a key in it immediately, if I picked up a second 1920s portmanteau, the animation would play that I picked it up but there would only be one new unkeyed portmanteau in my inventory. I shouldn't have to put keys in every one before I can pick up another.
I did not pick up many portmanteaus because I didn’t want to spend money on keys. But since this event didn’t use much spell energy or give many books of value, I feel like it was all a hamster wheel. And now I am chock full of spell energy and bored. Can we get a spotlight Knight Bus challenge this weekend?

@HPWUTeam may I make a suggestion that you don't take off the portkey portmanteaus that do not have keys until the end of the event. I felt that you can at least let me keep one just in case I need it before I completed my walk before the end of the event. I had to wait a little after I opened the portmanteau before I saw another 1920s portkey portmanteau so I could place my gold key. Thank you very much for a strangely enjoyable event.
really annoying that portmanteaus disappeared if not keyed in and my event was not due to end in like 6 hours, so I gave up.... not nice to shorten our event, especially players in later time zones....
Now the ports are borked, just walked 3 of them I put silver keys in and they turned into buckets, but are unusable. The screen just spins, can’t collect the rewards! Jeesh

@BanjoB there was no story and no dialogue - just pop ups telling you how the mechanics worked. You didn't miss anything.

4 hrs remain in the event and all my 1920’s portmanteaus have already changed back to prized portmanteaus. Ugh!
My 5 1920's portmanteau disappeared before the event ended. I was about to key them before I went to bed. What the heck. :(
Mine disappeared also. Finally stopped raining and went out to finish the event just for them to disappear.

@CheekyNiffler my red dots went away when I placed a fragment on all of the foundables for the 1920s page.

@BocaG I had a similar issue b4, exit out of app, force closes and go back it. I think that is a “tutorial/preview” is gives the first time?
