Thank you Developers for adapting the game so brilliantly (😁) for stay-at-home play.
Has anyone else noticed a recent reduction of Tonic ingredients on the map? And that Tonic seems to have gone back to it's original trace-spawn rate? Was that intentional, or a glitch?
@LadyLapis I believe the reduction in ingredient spawns was intended, to allow for more Extimulo ingredients to spawn. Trace Tonics still bring 1 spawn per minute, vs. The previous 1 per 5 minutes, so that spawn rate has not changed.
As someone who's played since near the beginning, I feel that I'm not a valued player/customer. I've spend 100s and reached level 43. The 'new lessons coming soon' never came. I'm pretty much maxed on everything now. I didn't want to spend books on a different profession waiting for these "soon" new lessons. So there's nothing interesting left for me. The recent error with fragments made things worse with it being all too easy to make a mistake pressing the star on placed images with overloaded fragments.
So, I've now stopped playing and have uninstalled the game. I'm sure that this wasn't the intention but I believe that it was very poorly consider design changes.
How would you handle the Hogwarts Greenhouse? There is no map location to pick things up from, and it will always be busy growing someone else's plants -- you won't be able to plant what you want.
So I just double checked the first message in this thread. There is no discussion of the ingredients for TTD being less common.
PLEASE. Baneberry is no longer map spawning enough (2 map plops per potion), and Bulbox juice seems to be much harder to find. It's like you're back to the old spawn rates. And yes, horns are still a problem on the map, not a problem in portkeys.
Baneberry is really hard to grow and harvest in a greenhouse. Especially at only 1.5 potions when you do succeed.
Wow, I just had 5 Baneberry sitting on the ground around me! I'll send some down to you as I checked my vault and am sitting on almost 40 right now. As for scurvy grass... That is my bane-berry at the moment!
@Yohanes12 I would imagine it will be adjusted but Pokémon GO is keeping some things or only tweaking them. So I wonder about half Portkey distance and energy on the ground etc. for us.
So, some countries have had their Pokémon GO “pandemic bonuses” reverted recently and of course the community has been fine with it. From what I can see, we still have the below active;
Portkeys acquired after the update will have their distance requirement decreased by half until further notice.
Landmarks will be disabled on the Map until further notice.
The task 'Earn 750 Wizarding XP' has been changed to 'Earn 1500 Wizarding XP'
The task 'Use Tonic for Trace Detection 1 Time' has been changed to 'Complete 1 Wizarding Challenge'
The reward for 'Pick up one ingredient or Portmanteau from the Map' has been increased to 20 Spell Energy
1/2 Distance Portkey
To help with indoor gameplay, Spell Energy Gifts collected after 3/17 at 3pm PDT will now include increased amounts of Spell Energy ⚡️(Is this still active, wasn’t sure?)
Tonic for Trace Detection will have Master Notes effectiveness increased from 15% to 50%
Ingredients will appear on the Map more frequently, especially those needed for Tonic for Trace Detection
Traces will appear on the Map more frequently
Spell Energy will appear on the Map
Tonic for Trace Detection will reveal Traces more frequently
The amount of Gifts that can be opened each day will be increased from 10 to 20
Is it possible to get some clarity perhaps @hpwulola or @HPWUTeam as to how long we will keep these for and if any will be staying?
@PkmnTrainerJ shhhh, please don't give them any ideas! When they have an announcement, they'll make it and people will be ticked and make nasty comments on here so I'm fine with letting it be until that point.

Any chance we might be allowed to use Healing Portion for spell energy outside the Fortress environment?

As the Pokémon pandemic bonuses slowly start to cease (they were noted as temporary anyways) Will any of these bonuses be reverted any time soon?
@PkmnTrainerJ so luckily in two region because region has been immunity for covid (if sucessfully), so this game will be adjusted too.
