@LaurieTLC I have to respectfully disagree with you. There's always a balance of players who want the heavy gameplay and the laid back approach to the game.
As @Not4u13 mentioned, alot of players would feel forced on paying for extra tasks which wouldn't feel right to accelerate their gameplay. That's the general behavior of many users unfortunately.
For many users, they feel the need to complete events. But globally, gameplay is not the same. Additionally charged events, can harm players in rural areas, younger players, and different countries since many exchange rates alot more different to the US, it's much more expensive to purchase and has an unfair disadvantage to them.
I also like to believe that the forum algorithm has a cheeky sense of humor.
When does the event end? This announcement says July 2-July 9, and that matches up with the game clock which is showing me 1d23h left. However, the graphics put out and the SOS announcement in game say July 2 - July 8. So when is it really ending??? @hpwulola
Thank you very much @HPWUTeam for this event 😊 I had a great time even though I was too tired to walk extra because of the heat. I was only able to open 62 portkeys. I did get a lot of Ministry Manuals.
Isn't ot funny how Niantic usually does a dragon event on the eve of a major update?
(Even though they're technically not dragons but wyverns; the difference being, that dragons have 4 legs and wings and wyverns only have 2 legs and wings)
My wife completed several red and opal port keys this morning, show the fragments go up in the registry, place one of the images, but no credit was given for the event. It was the only task she has left to complete the event, but out of keys and time can't complete the event and get the rewards.
Personal observation, since Adversaries were added, we are now experiencing a lot of bugs I see listed and more. We have Galaxy S20 phones so processing power shouldn't be the cause of them (we close all other tasks except Google Fit before playing).
Well done! Together, we reached our goal and have unlocked reduced brew times for Healing, Wit-Sharpening and all Exstimulo Potions for the upcoming July Community Day.

Unable to complete the last quest it seems it was not registering the right eggs ... Do you plan to award us anyway or at least refund silver keys ... So mad about this right now ... Thanks
@Foxloulou It was mentioned here several times by several different people that this was the case. Since they did inform us of the problem, they may not be inclined to make any compensation for it, as it would be rather difficult for them to know who figured out the problem and worked around it and who did not. 🤷🏼♀️
This one was a fail with port keys. My walking was dependent on game staying open in foreign soil with erratic service. Did not work as it should. Now we are on complete lockdown. Bigger problems than the game. I am disheartened at the lack of awareness of situations around the world and in our country. I would recommend closer scrutiny of tasks and requirements.
HPWULOLA - are you going to allow those of us to receive the rewards for completing the event even though the dragon eggs weren't calculating properly?
I saved up all my portkeys for the dragon event to return, and completed the event, but it wasn't counted because of a bug. Lost all my keys and didn't get credit for finishing the event. Was checking to see if they planned to fix that botched event before I quit.

@podcat just noticed that the SOS announcement has been changed to 9 July so think the countdown is correct.

@Lockice Page III placements give credit for Page IV quests and vice versa. They messed up and didn’t correct it.

Hi I’ve been stuck at 4/6 dragon eggs even after successfully opening multiple portkeys. Please assist to fix the bug and give credit. Thanks!

I’d hope these Dragon events do come back around again before the end of the year. Maybe we can have a Dragon themed December?
