Also, the Lockhart Portrait task is awful because it’s completely random. I’ve beaten about 5 Lockharts since reaching the bonus tasks and have gotten one portrait. At this rate, the randomness of it being dropped combined with the fact that Lockhart isn’t really spawning much without an EDM means I’ll be running through almost all of my EDMs to get them. I don’t mind difficulty but being at the mercy of both the random portraits drops and the lack of Lockhart encounters for the same task goes beyond difficult and into extremely frustrating and annoying.
@WitchHiker I found the ones I needed for the task but they do seem very rare. The only one I found was Slytherin’s portrait. I’m not sure if there are any others. Red Hogwarts School icon with orange beam.
@hpwulola Okay, so I am about to exhaust my EDM supply trying to find these freaking portraits. Very badly planned task. Please consider asking them to do something to raise the drop rate. It's very frustrating.
Update: So it ended up taking me either 2 or 3 EDMs to get the portraits. Sorry I lost count. So it is possible, just annoying as ~ahem~ you-know-what.
I have been boated out of the Lockhart adversary twice now, each time when I get to him.
Spawning of task fragments is worse than they normally are. Even using TTD it doesn’t spawn things I need to complete tasks.

Most of the time I've had issues with being booted from an Adversary chain was due to connectivity issues. Spotty WiFi or cell coverage is the culprit. It happens most frequently when I'm in a car and happen to grab a dark mark when I'm passing by.
It seems the game is designed to check back with the server more often than I would expect and especially in between each guard. If you have the slightest connection issue at just the wrong time, you are immediately returned to the map.
I turn off WiFi on my phone while I'm out "in the wild" and playing the game. It seems to help.
Anyone else notice a difference lately in the effect of spells against the final adversary? I'm a maxed auror, used to do 199 damage on my critical casts against all finals in the adversary chains, now its much lower against most. Down to around 150 against a dragon earlier. Anyone else know when/why this happened?
Anyone else having difficulties with the foundables guarded by goblins. Almost 3-days and so far only 4 have appeared. First day when doing non-bonus tasks - so many goblin protected foundables, since reaching bonus - massively declined. Unlikely to finish this bonus task with such LOW spawn rate.
@hpwulola is there a chance that you can boost the TfTD tonight so people can finish the special bonus assignment? My friend hurt her back again and can barely walk. Unless her son helps bring her scooter in and out of the house, she will not be able to go anywhere. She needs the gnome boosted. Thank you very much!

I finished mine by walking a little, just enough to get the gnome confoundables requirement completed (because I forgot to bring my mask with me). I loved the way you categorized the requirements with Gilderoy Lockhart's book titles. I'm am looking forward to the next events.
Meanwhile, I have all portraits I need but 0/12 gnomes. Wouldn't matter, though, because so far I have yet to find anyone in a dark chamber lobby, so I'm 0/3 there as well. Well, I haven't completed bonus assignments for an adversary event in ages, so, whatever...
The gnome foundables do not seem to be boosted using TTD at all and are hiding on the map. It’s the same on my account and my daughters, HauntingSilence. Spawned traces rarely appear at our home despite regular play for over 19 months, using TTDs daily at home, etc. Since TTD seem to only be boosting hag traces, even in the bonus assignment, it’s unlikely we will have time to finish. EDM rewards seem to be very rare , and residing in a no spawn zone generally means we don’t complete Adversary events.
Im on the bonus of this event, and the servers appear to be suffering huge lag. I also had issues with at least 3 dark marks where i was fighting lockhart creatures and just got kicked out and the adversary was gone. Can i get a refund on at least those 4 dark marks (so far)?

They say it is playable from wherever you are. That's not true. I only found gnomes when I had to step out for a bit. I don't mind it being a walking game but they need to be honest about it.
The sentence- " this event has been adjusted to facilitate playing from wherever you are" doesn't really apply unless they mean they will adjust it to every country/city rules!
@Nhix my friend was able to complete the gnome confoundables requirement during the last evening of the event at her home using a couple of TfTDs. Maybe the random number generator did not work out for you. I'm sorry about that.
@Djea I don't know but a lot of people have come up with the same complaint. I thought it was just me in the beginning since I managed to finish the first part within 2 hours. It was all because I decided to walk all the way home from the hospital which was a good 3 km walk.
The road I took is a highway and has a lot of schools, churches and government buildings so the spawn level is generally great. But I definitely saw a drop. Maybe some accounts weren't as affected as others. Maybe mine is less affected than that of others but there is a good consensus reporting the same issues so I think that should be looked into.
I'm not a techie so I can't really judge the motivations of the developers. All I know that the social media managers are watching this space and am sure they're reporting these issues to the relevant department. It's up to that department to make any changes.

So I am in bonus tasks, use a mark to draw adversaries. I defeat 2 in a row and it only credits me for one.
No more marks left. Low on Spell energy and no more are showing up.
I should have 4 out of 4 on the tasks and grab the spell books. Running out of time.
This is not the first time the recording of tasks failed.
