How do you get 5 Great casts in a row?!?
I would love to be able to progress to the final set of challenges before the Marauders Map event ends tonight, but I can't manage to get more than 3 greats in a row. I am getting quite frustrated. I leave foundables with spells I am not as good at and focus on ones I can often get greats in, but I still keep getting goods or fairs that break the streak.

Welcome to the Community, @BFluffins! Try casting the spell faster. I find it easier to hold the device in one hand while trying to cast from the other. I do try to be as accurate as possible, but I always prioritize the speed over accuracy.
Please note that these are just my personal experience as a player myself. Good luck!
To tough of a requirement for an averages player.
There has to be a mixture of difficulty levels in the challenges. If they’re all too easy, what’s the point? It’s like being a kid and trying to beat the hardest levels on Mario. You feel great once you finally do it! Keep at it, and I’m sure you’ll get it. Pro tip: only try it on spells you’re good at. If you enter a foundable with a difficult trace, back out and wait for an easier one.
For me just trace it fast dont mind the details. Usually come out masterfuly.
And maybe for some its feel gross, finger grease is good for fast trace.

That would be a wonderful point if the most difficult task was on the 4th part.
And, what happens if you can do it about 50-66% of the time at best? I can get 5 masterfuls before 5 sequential greats.

When I focus on speed, I get red/brown trace, and it goes down. I've had a fast but bad go down to fair.
It took me almost the whole event to get the 5 great casts. They were either rejected or came out as Masterful. I used up over 20 Tonic potions and sooo much energy. Aggravated with that one for sure. My kids could not do it at all!
@Keybounce 5 masterfuls counts as five greats. Has to be at least great or better.
And to you or some others the most difficult task may be the 5 greats in a row. To someone else it might be collecting 15 high threat foundables in the last part. It’s all relative.
I think you mis-understood me.

5 sequential masterfuls? Ha! :-)
EDIT: Ohh, a high threat bombardia? My best case. No potion, stay around for a -- WHY DID YOU RETURN?
EDIT 2: Swooping Evil! Dwaddle, this is decent. First is just under masterful. Didn't return. DEparture denied. Great. SEcond is ... Darn, fair. Wait, that succeeded?!
Regardless, 5 greats is a challenge for some and not so bad for others. The game needs challenges.
Lord knows this forum certainly has them...
If you want 5 great cast in a row, try use cast aguamenti, this is very easy one.
I agree, quite frustrating. Takes away from the fun of the game. My daughter got hers quite easy, she can't get mine on my phone. There might be something about the haptic feedback. I'm about ready to give up the game for good with this. So many casts you know were great end up as good. No fun, why even play...
This tip is from @Brandaan in another thread (worked perfectly for us):
This way the server only registers your successes and doesn't notice your failures. Obviously you have to be able to cast "greats" at least occasionally....
For those who have a lot of trouble with these tasks, have you tried making a carboard cutouts of the spells? Do a search online, you may even find templates that are pre-sized for your phone. Make a set once and just take them out when you have a great/masterful event task to complete.
@Kodokmag thanks for the tip!!! Speed over accuracy really worked for me!!! I'm casting great and masterful spells all the time now!!
@hpwulola or powers that be....I am also frustrated with 5 in a row....and it also made me wonder if you have an amended version for players with fine motor, dexterity issues?
That's not my situation, just a thought.
I'm just old and slow😏
