I just finished unlocking and opening my last two Portmanteau and finished the event.
I found this one a little more challenging than the Flora and Fauna event. Especially with putting the "unlock 4 Portmanteau" on the second task group.
I think these events are fun, move the story along without giving too much away, and offer quite a challenge to those of us who want to make a timed race to completion out of it.
There were some bugs in this second week; Portkey issues, drop rates, etc. But for me, that added to the challenge. LOL
What say all of you?

Thank you for your take on the event and your cheerful reaction to bugs. I appreciate the positive attitude.
I need to stay away from the other forums so that the assignments are more of a surprise. I am curious if anyone else feels this way.
I had a good time even with the occasional vexation. I still need to open my brilliant portkeys to get the last two fragments, but the lists are complete.
@Osprey1 funny enough, I feel like if I’m looking elsewhere, it’s somehow cheating, whereas if people post in here, it’s like teamwork. Not sure why!😂
@Osprey1 I was in the beta for Ingress. The bugs and issues then still outshine any we're currently having with WU. LMAO
Since there's still 5 days left, I didn't want to reveal any tasks that people weren't likely already working on. LOL Let me tell you, the 4th list is challenging!
@dogobe I totally avoid any posts that might reveal something. LOL I feel like it would be reading a chapter or two ahead in the book, then going back. Hahahahaha
On 4/4 on the registry, and am most annoyed by the Portkey issues for Part II, but am still loving the content and am definitely running into a lot of fun new foundables in the mean time. 👏👏👏
I'm nearly there @SamuelHaight , got 4 portkeys unlocking so that's the lsst part then? The couple of pieces missing on page 2 which i presume come when the task of portkeys is done.
I've totally loved this event, i do get easily excited & very into this game lol, but I'm loving wandering round getting as msny purples as U can.
Using brain elixir got me about 10,000xp on day one of this 2nd part- it was hard to force myself to go home lol.
Anybody wants me...I'm the crazy lady wandering around occasionally squealing when I encounter a new foundable! 😂

@Osprey1 I have deliberately not opened the mystery discussion yet, cos im just in the process of finishing writing alk I have in my notebook & i aant to have a go at working things out myself. I dont want to see if others have got things & so I'm just handed the answers .
I know it sounds daft, but I really want to get immersed into it first, then go chat about it, il be happy if ive got things right or wrong, either way, it's the fun of playing & immersing into the mystery that it's all about I think?
@Dogoutlaw just seen your comment Sensei 😀 that sums it up perfectly. Out here it's teamwork to bounce ideas and get a few tips without the risk of being handed the answers. Where's the fun in that!? Lol
@AuroraKadavra LOL. I've finally reached the point of getting Masterful pretty regularly on my Meteolojinx Recanto, so I'm hitting all the Brilliants to complete the Achievement for masterful traces.
I'm always forgetting to use my Baruffio's! I have used a few though and gone from level 23 to 27 since the event started.
@SamuelHaight wow! That's some serious levelling, esp if you've been forgetting to use your Baruffios!
I really wish I'd had mine going when i caught young Hermione and the Womping willow for the first time today!! I'm totally sat with big grin on face now & I've not even gone out to do the Fortress yet!
That's a good idea with the Meteolojinx Recanto, I've got that one down now too and it's frustrating i seem to hit top line of 'great' every time but not moving into masterful. It's like there's an invisible forcefield repelling it! Lol. Must try harder!!
@AuroraKadavra my main gig is as a dog walker, so I'm running around town most of the day. Gives me a lot of time to play between clients. LOL
I agree. Definitely more challenging than the first two events. I was able to finish those both on opening day. I just now completed part 2 about a hour ago. Cant wait for the next event!

The game had new assets to download tonight, I hope that means new events are coming soon! Plus Dragons :D
Is the last item in the registry (looks like a letter from the silhouette) in a portkey? I’ve gotten everything’s else done, but it says 0/3 on that item and I don’t even know where to look for it.

So... when I tried posting this comment, it told me it was under review. But it's been over a week in review now? I'll try again even though its a little old (out of date) now, here goes:
Despite my worrying that I didn’t have enough of the event runestones left, I gotta say, I was able to manage everything just fine. 😊
Unfortunately, as a true Gryffindor... I’m hard headed and DID NOT want to change to Auror just to finish the very last challenge. Too much professor pride? Completionist pride? Who knows 🤣
So, agreed! This event was definitely more challenging, even if most of the challenge comes from living true to my house 🤣
I couldn't complete the second week because I couldn't get dark wizards. I'm actually a bit miffed over that.
Same, I was planning to do it today but the event finished, this event took much longer, I wonder what the completion stats say.
I think it went great! I like the length of 7 days. you start to get annoyed with all the purple traces at the end but then you look forward to then when the next one comes back.
@JulieJubz congrats on finishing! Yeah, I totally understand what you went through. LOL I didn't change my profession; stayed a Professor. Gryffindor forever!
@Craeft oh no! That sucks!! ☹️. That task was very difficult. I burned through a number of stones for that one. Tried different combinations of stone levels with fortress levels, and kept coming up short. I swear, if I see another pixie, it'll be too soon.
@LekeyVelder I agree. The 4x7 formula seems to be a good one. And yes, the Brilliant traces seemed to increase as the week went on! LOL
@craeft They are so common as an Auror.
A bit late now obviously, but 2-3 runs as a rank 1 Auror with no scrolls invested would have cleared this task.
