Yeah I'm getting really ticked off. I have a glitch during adversaries sometimes where I'll dodge an attack, then when the adversary hits me again, I lose double the amount of health that I should, as if it hit me twice. This has cause me to miscalculate when to use a healing potion and I end up dying. Honestly, it really is annoying and needs to be fixed
During the last adversaries event I got kicked out of 3 battles IN A ROW!! All times are during the final battle meaning I wasted so much time and potions. I was also playing in my house meaning I was using the WIFI and not data.
I’ve noticed this too! It’s happening frequently with adversaries and it’s not just one, I.e. Lockhart. So far Lockhart, pettigrew, fenris, basilisk, malfoys and some of the Dragons...
You can and should request a refund if you lose any adversaries from edms since they're very expensive and losing even 1 chain is a huge waste, and also if you lose potents/strongs/etc. against a wild adversary encounter due to this bug.
They need to know about this issue and reported on as many platforms as possible and they should definitely refund edms and the expensive potions since so many of us are hitting this.
I generally follow this sequence on IOS to contact them and they've always responded within 1 day and often within a few hours although this is likely different based on what timezone you are:
1) Suitcase
2) Gears (top left)
3) Help/Legal
4) Get support
5) Contact Us
6) New conversation
7) "Lost edm or adversary due to bug..."
8) I still need help
9) No (not about ios purchasing issue)
10) Items or purchases
11) No I need help with a different issue with items / purchases
12) Other
13) Copy paste original description asking for refund of items (edm/potions)
I don’t know who all this is affecting, but I keep getting errored out of my second Adversary foe. If this keeps happening, I won’t be able to complete the event, this will also mean lots of spell energy loss potion loss. Please assist!
One time I was kicked out of first opponent in Chain and another time kicked out on 2nd opponent in adversary chain. These are the last 2 I have done. I competed 2 chains earlier with no issue.
I’ve been kicked out during first opponent to and again against second opponent in adversary chain. Each time the encounter just ended. No error message just one min there the next gone back to main screen and dark mark gone.

[eta] It just happened again during another adversary, this time on the final for. Lost a potent Exstimulo and a regular, as well as a wit sharpening potion.
When fighting aragon I keep getting a message to return to map and getting kicked out of the match. Loosing potions and items. Samsung s20. Other phone in the car not having this issue.
I’m having the same issue on my iPhone. It’s not just Aragog, it’s any of the final adversaries. It seems to happen right when I select a potion, so I’ve lost several potions. This has happened 5 times in a row.
Looks like the event tasks will be again a real challenge... defeat aragog 4 times, but 4 times I’ve lost a whit+potent potion by almost defeating aragog but the getting kicked back on the map. VERY frustrating, especially at the current droprate of potent gifts in greenhouses (way too low), unicorn hairs from portkeys (guess bad luck I always get erumpent horns and dragon claws which I dont need at all) and slightly reduced brewing time, I’m not gonna make it back to my stack of potions until somewhere in 3 weeks... and all this without any fragments or rewards.
To all having the issue: can you please upvote the issue? Only 12 votes so far and I see many more have the problem. Maybe when there’s over 100 votes the message will come across more clearly that there’s a big problem with the gameplay.
lost five adversaries while batteling. Two narcissa and One fenrir first event and One aragog this event. Using extimulo and wit sharpening. Only walking around University campus with good Wi-Fi, not driving or travelling. Very irritated at losing fragments and potions for No apparent reason.

Sometimes the encounter is still there and I can go back in to exactly where I left off but mostly it just ends. It’s also killed the game three times and I had to re-start completely. Has happened on different Adversaries and different potions, at different stages of the encounter.

Just now, I’ve been booted out of 3 adversary encounters in a row. The first and last encounters, I was booted after my first shot, and the second encounter, I was booted on my 2nd shot at the 2nd guard. It told me there was a map error and then said I lost connection. I absolutely did NOT lose connection and nothing was wrong. I also lost a couple Exstimulo potions because of this as well. Beyond frustrating.
I have been getting this error when encountering Aragog. I defeat the first 2 and then get the following errors so I can’t compete the tasks to collect the rewards. But if I encounter other adversaries, I don’t get this error it’s only with Aragog

this issue was PLAGUING me yesterday. I finally got wise after dealing with it for 6 hours because I wanted to document where it was happening. Of course... it got better the later it got... but I got a good snapshot of each attempt. During the day it was maybe 1 success for every 2-3 fails.
That said, here is what I kept track of (and where it booted me out) last night....
19:54- Aragog - FAIL, booted after 1st protego on 1st guard, force close/restart
19:55 - Aragog - FAIL, booted after 2nd protego on 2nd guard. Did not reappear on map.

I've noticed that whenever I fight an adversary and a portmanteau opens due to GPS drift or simply walking, the fight is terminated.
Wasted third edm, just quit from battle on the middle of fight, the first and second time just ignored these bugs

Once again getting kicked out of battle 3 potions in to a final adversary encounter.
Can’t fight adversaries at all—last 4 tries got booted out after 2-3 casts and get wireless connection error
Cannot fight adversaries without getting booted out after 2 to 3 casts into the wireless connection error. This happened with the last four attempts.
3 times part way though the final battle, adversaries have cut back to main screen
