I don’t seem to be able to quote your post @Drakonite but mine was a minor title change to a postbox POI (which is a Fortress).
For reference, title edit sent on 23rd November 2020, approved on 26th December 2020. Live on Wizards on 27th December 2020. Submitted via Ingress if that helps.
Of course, now when I am trying to look at the game, it’s not loading any POI or Foundables.
There happened some type of sync around 9-10 pm UTC on monday: Some waypoints changed their pictures in HPWU and some inns changed their color. Still missing all the new waypoints
I have to admit I don’t pay enough attention to my ones that aren’t super nearby so maybe they’ve gone from blue to pink?
Some recent photo edits have synced across too. Got some snowy photos as the main ones. Any chance of an update properly folks, rather than us just guessing?
I think the HPWU team on this forum are more concerned about other bits. I guess if there’s no update coming, they could say. Or say what’s been attempted and such.
I believe this will correct our Wayspot syncing issue. We will be keeping a close eye on things, please keep me updated on how your maps look! Thanks for continuing to follow up with us on this thread.
Hey, a new issue popped up due to the sync. Many players reported new locations shortly after logging in and then their games have frozen. Now we're unable to get back in.
@hpwulola it seems sync isn’t happening again. Nothing here have come through since the fix went live. Also getting reports from other players about sync not happening.

It's a new year... We need a new update on the progress of this fix. Nearly a month with zero updates!
@HPWUblue Maybe you can give an update on this, as @hpwulola and @HPWUrobert seem to be unresponsive.

The title of the topic notes that edits are not syncing. I’ve had some title edits Sync so that seems okay but not had any new POI sync.

interesting. Yeah i've seen pois in hpwu and then tried to cross reference them in intel ingress map and their title(s) have been dif.

The inns started to change their roofs and colours, some are changing places.. but still no new POI by now.
I hope this issue won't be an issue soon :)

colours have changed in some areas, some pois have had name/description/picture change. But, yet no new pois/ poi sync.
And no update from @hpwulola @HPWUrobert or @HPWUblue. Looks like they have just abandoned the subject.

I'll be waiting for a known amount ot the "missing" POI in my neighbourhood, so I am excited to find out, what they would become in HPWU.

Yay for an update and a date for the potential fix.
Hopefully someone failed to schedule the task properly, for the maintenance. Either that, or they failed to correct the issue, again.

Will newly appoved wayspots appear in-game regularly now without the need for server work / poi downtime?
