Thank you very much for this upcoming event. It looks like Wizarding Weekend, except it takes over a longer period. I am looking forward to getting a lot of Ministry Manuals and prestiging pages. I look at the rewards as incidental since I am getting the MMs for the SOS Training.
I am worried about the Masterful Traces but I am just going to hope for luck.
It would be great if you could double or triple the snowdrops and ginger roots on the map so we can get a good head start on replenishing our supply.

Blah, I'm sick of having to battle in my highest chamber because it's the only chamber that doesn't give a challenge fragment reward! All that work and potion use for no wand fragment is agonizing! The last five I've played I have had no wands and I'm so close to upgrading the frame to silver.
This is one event that I'm not even going to bother with by the looks of it. 11 potents? Seriously? 11 potents are worth more than the rewards for the entire event combined. As well as that I don't even brew them as they are so much more expensive than Strongs and even normals, which fully upgraded are sufficient for anything in game.
I don't know whether it is the age of my phone or my tremor, but I am Level 44 and have only done 13 Masterful casts EVER. Clearly I am going to have to give up on that goal before I start, which is disappointing.
All this work and the reward is a bunch of stupid gifts? I'm getting the impression that this game is going the way of the Pokemon one where only urban gangs are welcome.
The OrangeWizard infographics, which many people assume contain official information, promised guaranteed fragments and an energy reward for high chambers; I'm seeing neither.
@hpwulola I see multiple people reporting that event Foundables are quite scarce even with TfTD, event Portmanteaus are not appearing, and that they are not getting reliable credit for event tasks. Is there any chance this can be looked into while there is still time to fix any problems? People are still pretty salty about the lack of Wit-Sharpening gifts in the Adversaries event, which you said would be looked into and then silence.
Anybody else had abysmal results from a TTD early in the event? I put one on about 45 minutes in and saw a whole 3 of the Yule Ball foundables - nothing else that counted for the event. What gives??

There were some initial issues with event traces and Chamber rewards at the start of the event, but team quickly resolved this! Please reload the app if you aren't seeing traces.
To the person claiming that 2 Masterful Casts in a row is easy, you must have a phone with a small screen. Masterful casts are few and far between on the more recent Pixels, etc.
As far as I'm concerned, that task is flat out impossible and completely inappropriate to require as anything other than a one-off (i.e. Not part of a collection of tasks required for a larger reward at the end).
If they want to make an "in a row" badge, go nuts! But don't put tasks that are impossible on some devices into your events.
It's been ages since I have been able to cast even one Masterful spell. I think at some point since the beginning of the game they made it harder to do so. Two in a row is pretty much impossible. I'm looking forward to being able to prestige the Yule Ball Hall page but I seriously doubt I'll be able to complete all the tasks.
I haven’t checked every Wizarding Challenge level but for the ones that I did (close to 10 of them) Yule Bale Program isn’t listed in the possible rewards. It should be listed on every one of them when selecting a Legend of Hogwarts runestone so this must be intentional and everywhere. Meaning the Yule Ball Program foundable can only completed via the blue Portkeys!

Yeah, the rewards are certainly not worth stressing out over. I don't think I realistically can do two masterful in a row, so why bother trying to do the other annoying things like wasting 11 effective exstimulo and playing highest chambers with strangers thrice.
I'll just try and farm some SOS manuals. If I happen to do two masterful in a row, by chance, I might look at the other tasks, but before that: Hard pass...
@XpanderFX For me, Quidditch Harry Potter counted; not sure about the "young Harry"Potter", that might work, too...
I've found that masterful casts seem easier during this event. However, since this game hasn't allowed me to send a gift to anyone for over a year, this reward is completely useless.

Masterfull cast 2 in a row? No problem, if you have aguementi spell to fast cast.

Within the first 15 mins of the event I got the 2 masterful in a row task. So don't start complaining it's not doable.

2 masterful in a row is impossible. Just having that task there makes it pointless to even bother with the whole event as we can't get the rewards.
Also in nearly an hour of continuous play I haven't encountered any of the other things needed.

Yule Ball Great Hall is an impossible task. It is a Gold page for me; I’m close to placing one image but the others aren’t close at all.
Regardless, two DADA books isn’t worth eleven potent potions.

The problem is : Yule Ball Hall gold frame's too much to find if you walk is 100 km *aka 100 portkey*.
@Finnestra don't give up if you get masterfull spell in a row. I just finish in 3 minute too.

Between Narcissa's itty bitty target circle and this two-masterful task many people are feeling that the game is changing in ways they cannot follow.
