I have complete all the other tasks, visited the knights bus at every level with every runestone and have not receive any wit sharpening gifts?! This seems as if it’s an unfair task during quarantine :(
Most of the threads in other areas talking about this issue have been removed, including the one where @hpwulola said that this task was intended to be completable by getting the gifts from the Knight Bus.

Hey @HPWUblue , while you were merging the bug report and other threads there was an interval where no threads at all about this massively reported issue were visible in any of the fora and it really looked like you were trying to squelch discussion of the problem.
If you do this in the future please have links to the removed threads redirect to the new thread so that people don't get needlessly upset, or close the threads and replace them with a link to the new omnibus.
@Morganza Hmm, nothing would change on the forum while we're still selecting the threads to merge. For example, I would select Discussion X and Y (both still visible on the forum) and when I press the merge option, Discussion Y will be moved into the existing Discussion X. So, there shouldn't be an interval where these threads aren't visible on the forum. Nonetheless, I will pay more attention while carrying out these tasks. Please tag me if you noticing anything odd. Thank you!

well event ended and this task was not completed as i played the fortress the whole time and got no gifts. I messaged support for help atleast 3 hours before event ended for help with this task and no answer.
I was enjoying the event til this dang task and not able to find the stupid gifts. I really wanted to finish event but the game made impossible and support really didn't care either.
This was a complete non starter for both me and my wife. We played every day searching inns, fortresses and greenhouses and did not find a single WSG. We completed all other tasks, but this one was broken. Niantic should just go ahead and give this task to anyone that completed the rest.

@HPWUblue yep, you found it! I hadn't realized my discussion had been merged with another one 6 days later. I just suddenly couldn't find it in my discussion section of my profile. And since it was consolidated with another discussion, the comments were non-consecutive, thus my difficulty and confusion in locating. Thanks.
@ParrishBlue We usually mention the users to inform them about the merge. But sometimes we can't - it depends on the length and number of the threads being merged. However, this is useful feedback, and I'll be sharing it with the team. Thank you!
