You use exstimulo when you’re in a trace - there’s a potion icon in bottom right and it will show there. Or when you’re in a fortress chamber. There’ll be a potion icon, and when that window opens you can scroll to right to see all available potions. It’s not obvious when in fortress, I didn’t realize you had to scroll to right for a while.
