I have missed today's event because just like a lot of other people I have a job... At the same time, no, I did not miss anything at all!!! Thus all my pages are golden for a long time now... And I have reached lvl 60 long time ago, so none of the today's event or tomorrow one will progress me in a game at all.
I love that you want to bring something new to the table... Yet, today stuff is not new... Still, thank you for new activities.

@hpwulola regarding the guaranteed rewards for the KB spotlight event, are they going to be reliant on the first person in the chamber and if the event has started in that person’s time zone, as that has been the case for KB related bonuses in previous events? Just wanted to confirm, so players can prepare accordingly.
Hi @Kodokmag, similar to the Community Day, players who start the chamber will control reward outcome. If they don't have the event active for them, others in that chamber will receive normal rewards.

I have just tried the knight bus event, this is exciting change BUT same with @Kodokmag,
I get roughly 1 or 2 challenges out of 16 that doesn't get me thunderbird in Tower V (I used various runestones)
Tried 2 challenges in Forest V and doesn't get me puffskein out of those 2 tries (I used Care of Magical Creatures runestones)
Just tried solo in Forest V (spent a bunch of exstimulo potions) and apparently third time's the charm. If the person who is the last to click 'join' (which started the chamber) determines the reward outcome, then I don't think it guarantees the exact reward...
@HPWUblue my mistake, my thought fixated to much on CoMC family so i read thunderbird (magizoology) from first post as abraxan winged horse (CoMC) . its work as intended at my end.

The Knight Bus gave me one Thunderbird with a brilliant runestone, but later the guaranteed fragments weren't there. I tried solo and with teammates who used brilliant runestones, but the guaranteed fragment didn't show.

Was looking for the same issue, but HPWLola cleared it: if someone in another time zone (where the event is not active for them yet) is the first person to start a chamber, the rewards will be as normal (sometimes no reward, sometimes random).
Overall, good to see these mini events, the routine of cd/ww/brilliants is becoming a bit old now, and it gives a chance to actively hunt for specific items, which is lacking in normal gameplay. In HPWU I rarely have the incentive to go out to a specific place.
I second the opinion that the event times could be better suited at around 15:00 - 21:00 when people actually have time to play.

It looks like when one uses a brilliant runestone, it shows you can learn brilliant foundable. But you receive the fixed foundable. It is only visible bug, not a real one.
The Knight bus event is a great idea but why put it 11-6 when most people are at work? Please make it a 24 hour event to allow everyone to participate.
Also - Dark Chamber V did not give me the guaranteed wild boar
It would be great if we just got a guaranteed trace reward every time anyway as a 20% success rate is just too low for the time they take.
I didn't get any in-game information regarding these events.
They are now finished in my time-zone and I just discover this topic now. Thank you once again for this lack of in-game communication.
By the way, for more than a month, I have the black screen bug that force me to start the game twice every time I am disconnected. This is really killing all the pleasure in the game.
Niantic should really solve all those major bugs before making new experiences...
Below screenshot is after winning a Dark V, with a 'Brilliant Lost Love' runestone. I initiated the chamber, and the event was active for me. It seems the Wild Boar reward isn't guaranteed, or brilliant runestones ALWAYS give brilliant family rewards, regardless of events. Could be a bug. I checked my Brilliant Lost Love page, and the fragment count is indeed 2/3, I don't think this is cosmetic. I really did not get a Boar this time.
I missed both events because I was at work, but I stumbled into a challenge on the Knight bus with someone from a different time zone who was still on the second spotlight event.
I really like the idea of using runestones from old brilliant events to get fragments from the main families. For many people who have been playing for a long time, these old BE runestones are just sitting in their vaults gathering dust.

This event is faulty. The fragments are not guaranteed
Trying tower V several times with different runestones, it give me thunderbird fragment (magizoology).

From what I understand reading the official forum the rewards are not guaranteed, it only increases the probability that it appears.

@hpwulola @HPWUTeam Any way to allow players to choose the time of day they play these pop-up events? (This would give all players a chance to play)
Example: maybe a 3 or 4 hour game and players can start the event anytime in a
24 hour period.
Should a player choose to start the event
(say it’s a 3 hour pop-up) two hours before event end, they can still play with the time remaining.
