Nodes giving books don’t works

Hi, i decided to make a long term investment unlocking nodes that gives books in treasure chests. The ones that can be found at the end of tier I. Well, i unlocked one node maybe 2 months ago and recently another one. Meanwhile i levelled those sections more than 20 times and never got a book. At this rate (still unknown), those nodes are only a waste of books. Please fix it otherwise a whole life isnt enough to unlock all nodes

Just bad rng. Sometimes with the trace charm one I don't get even one in 100, sometimes I get three in a row. That's why I haven't bought those, fortress is a much quicker way to get those books 🙂 I hope you have better luck in the future.
they do work but its around 1 red book per 20-30 rank ups/trunks.
I’ve never received a book either. This was one of the first node I unlocked using my hard fought restricted books and I’ve unlocked at least 40-50 treasure chests and still nothing. It’s definitely a bug.
As the previous people have stated. IT IS NOT A BUG. Those that say it is a bug are likely forgetting that each node only unlocks the chance to get books from a single family. I have received dozens of books from chests. I already have a reserve stock of Spell Books, so I am not investing too much in to getting all the Skill Book skills. I just get Skill Books from Hogwarts School chests. In order to get more skill books, I always go for those foundables, first.
These skills will NOT get you a massive increase in Skill Books. They may get you one or two every couple weeks, if you are returning a lot of the required foundables to open the specific family chests. The game is a program. It gives drops based on a random number. If you are not getting drops, that means that your luck is not good or you are not doing as much of the task required to get those drops.
There are already multiple threads supporting that these S.O.S. skills work.
@JosefK Which skill did you unlock? None of the skills awarding Spell Books from trunks require Restricted Books, so you may be expecting something from a different skill that doesn't work the way you think it does.
If you have opened the right node, and you meant DADA books, then yeah, 40-50 isn't that many at 5%, which is the likely drop rate. I've received a book on a 10th chest, and I'm up to 43 in that family waiting for the next. In another family, I received a book on the 2nd chest, and I'm up to 42 waiting for the next.
In the trace charm, I saw streaks from 1 (consecutive chests) up to 109 without one, all well within the expected outcomes for a 5% drop. It averages to 1 out of 20, but that doesn't mean it's broken if you hit 21 and don't have one. It just means you're unlucky.
