Why are there 19 ways to upgrade greenhouse gifts but only 8 ways to upgrade gifts from inns and 4 ways to upgrade gifts from challenges? Including for TTD gifts and BBE gifts not just a "increased chance" but an "even greater chance"? I'd rather have more ways to get better gifts from inns and challenges because those are more useful.

@hpwulola Thank you so much for replying! I’ll figure it out. I’m just worried about using them up and then needing them later.

Is anyone else wondering about this or am I just overthinking it?

I'm using them and going to complain later ^.^

SOS broke the game. One year to get to level 55, three weeks to get to level 60. I put building points into XPs in trunks, maxed out trace occurrences, trace fragments and efficacy.

I am also disappointed that XPs are no longer tracked after attaining level 60. I like knowing how many points I get for special events. Pokemon Go tops out at level 40, but still keeps track of your progress.

Will my points still be tracked somewhere behind the scenes? Are my Barufillo potions useless now? Will there be new levels? How many players have maxed out? Are there plans for us?

    Inquiring minds want to know.

For those that mention addition traces disappearing after using a trace charm. It has happened to me several times and restarting the app made the reappear.

@xxxlindy I doubt anyone has a count for the number of players to hit level 60. I am in the same boat as you. I was level 55, when S.O.S. skills came out, then managed to get to level 55 within two weeks, due to all the new exp and wanting to get most of the S.O.S. skills asap. It took 4 years for them to hit at increasing levels in PoGo, so I don't see us getting any level increase in hpwu, soon. Also, there is really no perk to increasing levels any more, other than new skills in the S.O.S. trees; so they would have to release another S.O.S. skill tree, if they increased the level cap.

With S.O.S. skills, there is less of a need to do as many fortress battles. Brilliant events are less attractive, since once you complete the event, the cost per reward for additional Brilliant traces is garbage. DADA books and RSB books are more of an annoyance than anything else, since they are event only; so all they do is hinder your progress.

The only real thing to work at, now, is finding the elusive Onmioculars, to get that star on the gold page, and stocking up for the next potential lesson plans.

They need to give us more ways to earn RSB and DADA books, to give us something to do and to allow for us to stock up for future updates. We also need more lesson plans, with skills that even the playing field for all the professions, when catching traces. Professors should not have to spend more time and energy returning Oddities. Encouraging team play is good for the fortresses, but there should not be difference in power outside of traces, where team play is not a factor.

@hpwulola or anyone else - was there an update where you don't receive field guides as often? I feel like I was receiving a field guide at least like 90% of the time up until the last couple of days.... I've just had 10 in a row with no field guide returns. It's really hard to keep stocking up for big purchases, and I live in a big city! Would love to see a higher percentage of returns.

Thank you, Bentiger. My Baruffilo potions can the used for getting xp requirements on Community Days. But not much else.

I have all pages prestiged, with only 6 more different traces to completely fill up.

I'm missing the hunt, with goals and planning how to achieve them. I finished all of the original list of SOS goals, except for planting another 100 seeds. The rest are ubobtainable at this stage.

That is my last achievement left that I can work on... and I am not in a rush to complete it.

There were very clever lesson descriptions of the SOS lessons using Potter lore, characters, and settings. Oh, if only 1/10 of that cleverness was used in the implimentation of the mechanics of those lessons. Warning to developers: beta test before release of new material. Keep your promises of new professional classes. Keep our record of xps visible when we achieve level 60. Give us higher fortress levels.

I would like to point out that the rewards for collecting fragments and placing traces is backward. Fluffy has a red beam for ease of detection, will not run away, and takes a maximum of 4 hits to capture. Reward for 10, is 55 books. Contrast with Dumbldore's China Cabinet, no beam, you need 55 to place, it is seldom seen and gives 3 books.

Go back to the drawing board, and use logic.

@xxxlindy I would like to point out that foundables are classified based on their difficulty level. Red stripe is an emergency foundable, which has the highest departure rate and difficulty to return. Yes, Oddities only depart, due to bugged connections or if you are low level and they manage to deplete your health.

Rewards are based on difficulty level, not appearance rate. Otherwise, extremely rare foundables like Omniocular, that have an appearance rate lower than 1/1000 traces would have to have extremely high rewards for returning. Also, different foundables appear in different places, due to environmental factors, so they may be rare to some and very common to others. You can't award varying rewards to foundables based on the amount that individual players are seeing.

As you stated... go back to the drawing board and use logic, before trying to construct an argument.

Does anyone know how you increase the amount of spell energy that appears on the map? I haven't noticed this in the skill tree, but their announcement guide mentions it. Thank you for the help!

@Otterlyslothful there's no skill to increase the amount of naturally spawning energy, but the inn charm will spawn a certain amount of energy on the map each time you use it.

The naturally spawning energy atm is a covid19 courtesy of Niantic.

As mentioned on our Known Issues list, there was a bug where the Trace Charm sometimes provides duplicate traces. We will be pushing a server fix to address the accidental duplicate traces. This fix will be pushed shortly and players will no longer see identical traces revealed by the Trace Charm.

    this is the original text

At level five you’ll unlock the first of a set of three completely new spells, Field Charms, that you cast directly on the Map itself, no remedial lessons with Professor Flitwick required. Cast the Trace Charm, *Pario Vestigius*, on existing Traces on the Map and you’ll reveal additional Traces nearby. As you upgrade this skill you’ll be able to increase the number and rarity of Traces revealed as well as the number of Foundable fragments returned from those Traces.

I don't understand the fix, because that's exactly what the magic is supposed to do. in the same way, since the beginning I've only ever received two fragments, even though I've already activated the special magic four times

@Dragons1111 its part of greenhouse gift booster at low level.

    Something like these:

Each potion gift booster have several node.

I noticed that a proficiency node was missing the connection to another node, despite opening the previous node.

@Yulemelissa just so you know, new nodes cannot be opened from below, only above or (sometimes) from the side. You need to complete the Greenhouse Charm lesson to the right (Rules of (Green) Thumb I believe) to unlock Who Goes Where? Your screen shot shows you did not complete it yet.

Question on Inn, Pubs, Tea Shop, etc... In SOS. I wonder if I choose to upgrade say the Tea Shop does that effect all types (Inns, pubs, etc...) or just the the Tea Shops? I really only have the Inn, so if it doesn't, then I'll avoid spending books on the others types.
