Leave Fortress Button

Move the leave fortress button from the middle of the bottom of the screen where players scroll. And add a confirmation screen. There's a confirmation screen to ride the Knight Bus to the remote fortress, why not when leaving it?


I love the Knight Bus and remote fortress access, but it is really frustrating when you hit the exit button on accident because of its location.

    This is an excellent suggestion! I think the confirmation to ride the bus is an unnecessary extra click, but confirmation to leave would be nice. Better yet, move the X to leave to fortress elsewhere. I was in a chamber, and I clicked X to leave. There was a lag, so tapped it again. Suddenly found myself back on the map and my friends had to beacon again for me to find them.

    a confirmation to leave would SLOW down the beaconing process of finding friends... but moving the fortress leave button to where the run away button normally is (and it is already coded in your game), while keeping the leave chamber/battle button as the X would FIX this problem and not slow down hunting. THANKS! PS.. why do the leave and Stay Buttons flip.. when you are asked to leave a battle it is one side but leave a fortress lobby and it is the other way around... just SILLY for sense memory....

    If you tap on the map icon in the top left, then it returns you to the map. There is no need for that x at all!

    @CeruleanGirl I discovered it by accident. Was trying to see if there was a weird loophole that would allow me to switch profession inside the fortress. I do think they should ditch the x.

    I agree, remove the "join" confirmation and add a "leave" confirmation. There is no consequence to accidentally joining a fortress, but leaving the fortress accidentally when you just found your friends is so painful!

    To @Magpie31's point.

    It would be nice to be able to change profession in the waiting room. HOWEVER... there needs to be a process in place (and I'm not sure how to do this), where you can't change at the last second... whether it's with the timer or everyone hitting "join".

    @Craeft Maybe you could change from the main fortress screen but not once you are in a timed waiting room / lobby? That way, I could hop out of a waiting room, change professions to what was needed, then get straight back in. It would stop last minute changing too.

    @Magpie31 The only real problem I see with that is a chain effect. Someone sees you leave, thinks the group isn't going to form so they leave, etc.
