Brilliant Poacher and Snatchers with too much HP

As a maxed-out professor, I do 96 damage per hit to a Brilliant Snatcher. That means I need 8 energy per Brilliant Snatcher. If I'm to catch 20 of these, that's 160 energy - just a little bit less than my max energy. It also means a bit over one minute of fairly boring playtime (at approximately 10 seconds per attack, then defend rounds), so 20 of these would probably run close to half an hour of mind-numbing boredom.

The return on that energy and time investment is also pretty terrible as well - we get a meager 3 family XP?

I'm filing this bug with hopes that this was a typo and maybe y'all meant for the Poacher and Snatchers to have something like 200 and 300 HP - not easy, but also not a bloody, pointless grind.

im fully maxed out on all 3 professions (red and green books), its not much better for mz or auror, it is slightly better for auror if you can land crits, which as a maxed auror you have more chances of, but even as an auror, if you dont land crits poacher/snatcher takes abt 6-7 shots each to drop....so frustrating beyond words...

700!? This seems like a bug - So much stronger than any EMERGENCY dragons or 3headed dogs

How are new players even able to cope with this?

Most of us here are maxed power in one or more professions, and we struggle due to the huge amount of resources needed.

This event is so frustrating - has no logic at all.

As a maxed professor, I need up to 8 hits (8 energy) for a single fragment, giving me 3 BFXP and 50XP. New players would spend dozens of energy, if they can even survive the encounter!

How are rural players able to cope with this?

TTD doesn't bring brilliant nearly enough brilliant foundables. And it takes often more than one minute for a maxed wizard to overcome one.

There is not enough energy to pick up, and rural players don't have inn farms to refill their energy.

This is so ridiculous! I hope is a bug and developers are fixing this ASAP

LOOPQOOL has said it all. Whoever thought these assignments up? I’m wondering if they have played the game thenselves.. if they had, they wouldn’t think of frustrating players this much. Feels like they’ve lost contact with the players base (again; or still).

    Agree 💯

It takes almost 2 min and 7-10 energy for one capture. And only getting 3fxl and 50xp from it. I'll never be able to finish.

I’m a maxed out auror and it’s been a bit of a grind challenging these, even with the potent level potions it takes 3-4 critical hits. I was also wondering if it was a typo. If the extra sos challenge is going to require 40 of these AND page placements then It’s going definitely to take a lot of energy. I even used a trace charm to see if doubling the amount of fragments would help, but it only works towards placing the object, it does not count towards the tasks.

Thank you @EqS! That is a much better figure, wish they'd have stuck with that

i wish i could have 1 profession (maxed on all 3) that would/could 1 shot poacher and snatcher regardless of their total stamina/hp. anything more than single shot is boring.

Just wanted to come in and agree with all of this. I'm still on part 1 and have used up almost all my tonics for trace detection and still haven't found enough poachers and no more are popping up on the map. there's no way I'll be able to finish this challenge and I'm incredibly frustrated.

Yup this time they screwed it too us I don't think this a mistake on there part ..they did this to generate money well I've spent enough and have decide to not spend another dime ...7 spell energy to get a foundable or use your potions up at a rate u can't reproduce them ...so buy them ..nope not doing it ...i notice they are progressing this game so u have to buy to win ..and also can't wait to see the masses stop playing when spell energy is not as plenty fun.. just not gona play like i use too ..so sad I really enjoyed this game

I am a maxed out auror and I think this may be the first brilliant event that I may not be able to complete. I am still trying to get the family xp, and after that, I will have 5 portkeys to try and open. This is definitely the least enjoyable event that they have had.

This is me. I am beyond frustrated with this event. I got 51 XP from 6 portkeys. Managed to place the Poacher on day 3 (same day as completed Task page 1), Snatcher on day 5, Poacher again on day 5. The candle I've placed twice out of 11 runestones. I had 4 poachers not count toward Task set 1. First Brilliant Event this year that I won't finish, not even in the last half hour.

This event has been awful for traces and XP.
