Changing Login Account/Method

I'm wanting to move from logging in with FB to Google or my Apple ID. Problem is, every time I try to link either of them I get the message 'an error occured.' I did accidentally once chose to login with Google and couldn't crash the process and so it created a never used account. I also use the same email for all three, which I suspect may be screwing it up. How can I fix this?

Thanks!

This might be worth reporting in the bug section, but for now let's tag @HPWUblue and @HPWUrobert and see if either can provide you some guidance...

    Thanks for the tag @Bormacska!

Hey @LucieDB! First, you need to un-link your Google account from the low level Harry Potter: Wizards Unite account. You can do this only if the account has a secondary login method (Facebook in this case). So, you need a new/ different Facebook account to complete this process.

    Follow these steps:

    1. Sign-in to your low level account (using Google Login method)
    2. Go to the in-app settings > Help/ Legal (bottom-right)
    3. Tap on Link to Facebook option and link the new/ different Facebook account
    4. Tap on Sign out
    5. Re-log into the low level account, but using the newly added Facebook Login method
    6. Go to the Help/ Legal section again and un-link Google login method

Now you can link the Google account to your main account. Be sure to check out our help center article on Account Linking and feel free to tag me if you need more help!

Sorry for the late reply. So there’s no other way to do it, @HPWUblue? I know many do it but creating more than one FB account is against their TOS and I also know people who have lost their main account for doing it and so it’s not a great solution.
