Skill Tree resets, Limiting Skill Points.

Hello everyone my gaming name is Zayik. I've played World of Warcraft since 2006. And I see similarities between Wizards Unite's Skill tree and World of Warcraft's. I love the direction you guys are going with building your character in power with Restricted books, scrolls, etc and investing them into certain skill points. And I see a much better, creative and fun way of progressing your Wizard. I'm confident with it because World of Warcraft was a huge success in limiting talent points, to create uniqueness and differentials.

Having skill points and spending them is awesome but the problem is, everyone eventually will be the same because you can fill an entire talent tree with points, which isn't flavorful or creative at all. For example imagine in 5 months from now a group of Auror's. They all are max leveled, have every skill in their tree and it's blah. They're all just the same. None of them are unique or different, they're just all the watered down and equal in every way.

To fix this issue you would simply make put a limit in each Wizard skill tree for example. Let's say all 3 classes has 100 talent points in the entire skill tree. You have 75 skill points to spend. This would give players choice and reason to take certain skills over others. It would make everyone a unique and different wizard. One Auror could be better fighting Death Eaters than another or be like a defensive debuff wizard. Or one could just be a straight glass **** or a hybrid. This would be so awesome for the community and fun.

Lastly, but not least put a reset button for character skill trees! So players can correct mistakes or experiment with different playstyles. It's always so fun to try different things.

Thank you for your time and please show this feed back to your developers, I hope this all will change some day. I believe this simple change will make the world of difference in AR gaming.

For now its not so perceptive, because there are not much talents, but I think if it number increases them the "ramification" will occur naturally. As much as the tree grows the costs incresases considerably, so in a certain point the players will have to choose where to investe. Of course, it will only happens if the tree grows substantially.

I forsee that in the future, specialization within profession. But the problem that even in warcraft faced was the healer and tank will take forever to **** one, compared to a glass **** dps who drinks health potions every hit. And the challenges are timer based.

And in warcraft eventually, they had to make it free to respec, and now, don't even have skill trees coz everyone goes the same path.

In fortresses, it's one on one, and the tank/healer can't do both at the same time.

Essentially, it's a different mechanic kind of game.

But yes I do support specialization: hexing auror, glass **** auror, tank magi, healer magi, attacking prof and defending prof.
