Am I the only one getting bored with the game? With the exception of special events it is gotten kind of lame. I cannot get out a whole lot and cannot keep spending money on spell energy. I usually Play from home and have to use TTD just to collect the daily foundables. And it is the same group EVERY day! The Hogwarts kids, the minister of magic, etc. Can something be done to change this? And the disappearance rate is ridiculous! I had 8 vanish in a row last night. Thegame has become increasingly dull and frustrating!

If the game seems boring to you, there's nothing wrong with taking a break. I've seen other people who've said that they play to complete the events but not much else right now.
If you can get out a travel to an area with inns, energy on the ground, and lots of traces then it can be pretty fun. But in the current pandemic, lots of folks can't get out like that. The devs have done a good job making the game more play-at-home friendly, but that varies a lot by area.
My advice is if you can't get out, don't worry about completing the daily tasks. It sounds like it's causing you more frustration than joy which defeats the purpose of playing in the first place.
I’m with you Danger. Even with the events it’s gotten so monotonous. The event tasks are all the same. It seems like the vanishing rate is up, probably because of the new SOS training so when they don’t vanish it seems like it’s actually doing something. Also it seems like there are less foundables in the “wild”, forcing you to constantly use potions if you want to accomplish anything, even though they say they’ve made it easier to play at home. It’s become so boring and frustrating I don’t even know why I’m playing other than to avoid holes in the registry. They need to spice it up.

with the typo, changing mid event etc etc i think its exciting. kind of waiting the drama afterward. 😑
My daughter & I both play & we are both getting bored. I liked the early days with the mystery foundables pages, the promise of more profession lessons (I have no desire to be a magi or an auror) & the specific spellcast achievement. I wonder what hitting level 60 will be & I don't see much improvement. I too am in a fairly remote area, have been playing since June of last year. Disappearing traces, lack of energy on the board, and the glitches are forever frustrating.
I can walk around my entire neighborhood & not encounter any brilliant traces. Most of my pages are gold so 350 points from one house is next to impossible, I would need to spend an entire day just gaming to make that task. 1st time in a year I did not complete a brilliant event & the Wizarding weekend was a bust. Now on my next brilliant event & not even close. New pages, New traces, New profession lessons, New spells to cast & 700 for a brilliant foundation that disappears frequently needs to go. Spice it up please.
