Trace Charm Refills During WOW Event

Hello fellow Wizards!!
Since the event began yesterday I have opened approximately 75-90 chests (thank you Whomping Willow) and have not received a single solitary TC recharge from the chests. I don’t expect like a gazillion of them but I would have assumed at least one...anyone else experiencing this lack of TC recharges?
I am completely out of them and have room for four.

I got 1 this afternoon, my TC recharge from chests usually weekly so its pretty much lucky me. 😆
I have only received my one from walking a quarter mile. 😭😭😭😭😭😭
And every time I see a red plume I cry a little because that’s 120 field guides I am missing out on...
I find it more frustrating when I use it on one thing and don't get a duplicate (rare, but still) I used it on a flying car yesterday and got three proprietor Fred (or George?) which would be great if I needed them at the moment lol. Still didn't walk away empty handed though I just really really needed those extra cars, and that was the first time I haven't gotten a duplicate!
@CBG92 for me every time I use the TC up until yesterday I got something else with a red plume. I would get the one of the trace I put the TC on sometimes two and then four others. Yesterday I used the TC on the whomping willow and had a total of six of those. But have rarely received the same items. So your experience is different then mine. 👌
@ClairabusGryff apparently so! I think I got 3-4 of those too, but no flying cars yet🤣
@CBG92 **** many flying cars do you lack? I completed that part but can’t find pastilles- go figure!!
@ClairabusGryff puking pastilles were abundant for me (I finished yesterday) when they didn't flee. I prestiged to gold too so I'm just being a bit nit-picky about the page at this point cause it's worth more if you tap on gold. I still need 11 to max it out again though
I am having the same issue with the trunks not rewarding Trace Charm boosts. Seems like the chance of getting a Trace Charm gift has been turned down since the event started.
So day three of the event and I have opened 150-200 chests and not a single TC. Either one I am unlucky or two I will hit a run of like 10 chests and get 5-7 TC...hopefully?? 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Same for me. Before the event i was getting a few from trunks. But not one since the event started. Very frustrating.
Day 1 - As soon as the event started, I had 4+1 trace charms available +1 more opened up after midnight
Must have opened 70-80 chests and got 2 TC charges
Day 2 - Kept fishing for it with no luck. Nothing after opening about 50-60 trunks
Day 3 - Got 3 in quick succession (25-30 trunks) while placing multiple fortress foundables. Now raring to go out in the morning and hopefully get more charges!
Wow... Due to my busy schedule I only opened up about 90 trunks so far and had 11 trace charm charges.
Should have played the lottery instead of hpwu by the looks of it...

I usually have no issues with my trace charm, but both yesterday and today, after using the charm, although several new confoundables appear on the map after collecting one, on returning to the map to collect the others they have disappeared. Very sad as missing out on the much needed field guides
@Calledora Restart the app (game) if that happens again. They’ll reappear.
Oh if only @Dewin99. Haven't seen a TC refill since Friday before the event started and have restarted many times over. Some days RNG is a brat!

Restarting the app always seems to work for me when the ‘new’ traces disappear. I wonder, did your avatar move away from the original position? I’ve found that if it moves too far away, I sometimes lose the trace.
