Why would anyone with a mastered profession put themselves through another Knight Bus Community Day?

WB may not have learned from their mistake but I did. I don't need anything, no scrolls, red books, ingredients that are more litter than anything. Most of all I don't need the hassle. Hard pass. Let the lower level players that don't belong in high chambers climb on the back of another low level. Epic fail, hard pass.

@Thunder2k I’m sorry that the August CD holds no interest or value to you. Hopefully there’ll be a more rewarding event coming soon for you.
I don’t need any (red) Spell Books, scrolls or ingredients either, but have absolutely no problem with helping lower level players in their quest to improve.
To the ‘lower level players’ out there that need help - if you see me in a chamber - climb aboard.
I was where you are once before, and was grateful for the help from others. It is called ‘Wizards Unite’ after all.
I don't need any books, but I plan to do some challenges for the guaranteed family fragment. It's a great way to fill in missing items in the registry.
You could also focus on filling in and placing items for the fxp rewards. Not so much for the runestones, but for the chance to open the reward chests and hopefully get extra trace charm charges.
A fortress community days forces some of us to take a break from farming traces for S.O.S. skills... I probably need a break.
@Dewin99 Feel free to carry as many as you want. That isn't helping them. Helping would be linking them to all the good videos and guides on how to group fortress battle. Also maybe advising them not to play in the high chambers unless they have built their profession to a point where they won't be in over their heads. As things stand now they'll have to battle in their highest unlocked chamber in every Brilliant Event until that gets changed assuming it does.

I don't need anything either now. But once upon a time, when the Knight Bus didn't exist, there was no one in my area with whom I could join forces with. I had to go through loads of solo fights to climb up the chambers. And, as a solo player, I had to learn a lot to be able to properly function as a team player in fortresses, especially because we cannot coordinate our battles as a group. And I am still learning.
I've learned so much from players like @Dewin99 and so many others who are such generous people, sharing advice, knowledge, and positive approaches. Thank you all for being there for all players.
So, following @Dewin99 's lead, low level players, if you see me in any chamber, feel free and welcome to join in.
Yes, you can learn a lot from this forum, about strategies and how to better use the resources available to you in a battle. But I've been there too, it's a learning curve, and you will learn by reading and playing, just like all of us did.
I have mastered Professor and nearly mastered Auror. I only need red books, so this is a welcome approach.
I also agree that as a solo player until KB, I have had a lot to learn about team play. Switching professions has helped, but I'm not very far along as a Magi, so my experience playing as one is limited.
I too welcome any lower level players who may see me in a chamber. I like playing with all levels. I do prefer a balanced team, but have been known to give an unbalanced team a go.

@EowynRio and @Dewin99 this is exactly what I'm doing during CDs and brilliant events atm! I've had a positive experience with lower level players during this event. They were holding their own (and not stealing my elites but that's a different discussion altogether). Of course there are occasional "rotten apples" but I wasn't concentrating on that. More and more players want to be good teammates, that's my impression anyway. So I will be doing this CD for the same reasons. (Also I wish we could "friend" other teammates after the battle like in Pokemon Masters but this is a different conversation, too.)
@Thunder2k yes, I get your frustration and why you're skipping the CD. I was forced into Dark V during that May CD (but I was reading up on how to battle and was lucky to max out just hours before it started! 😂) and I would prefer fairer events for most players and better prizes. But oh well... for now we've got what we've got. Hopefully there will be some improvements (though it is a very tiiiiiiiny hope).

At this point I don't care if there's low level players. At least there's someone. The knight bus is getting more and more empty.
Agree @Caeleon i have found the need to exit and enter the fortress more often to find groups (2+ players) in a chamber, haven't been playing higher chambers so much for this reason, mostly finding groups in the lower chambers.
@Thunder2k thanks for the playlist, although i have been playing since the game was released there is always more to learn and improve on.
