In SOS training under Calamity Essentials 3 (directly above LVL.38) I have AD Infinitum unlocked but the option for Herd Immunity is not able to unlock? (I have all the required books, but it is still Greyed out). Is this an error, or is there some other restrictions to working the tree that I am unaware of.
I hadn't seen any mention of this node being a problem so figured I should mention it. I was intent on getting "Herd Immunity" and was locked out even though I had completed "Ad Infinitum" and had plenty of resources to max out the 4 levels of "Herd Immunity". I found out I wasn't alone and this has been an "issue" for the last couple of weeks for others. So, I redirected my efforts and trained up "So Wrong It's Right" looking to add "Wrakspurts are Real" and ran into the same problem. I've not seen a mention of that node being a problem and figured I'd notify you of my issue with this node. Could be I'm the only one having an issue with this node although I suspect I'm not.
Logically if any are, they all should be. Trials of love at the top of the third page can only be accessed from below, so they are meant to be accessable that way. Unfortunately whoever programmed the tree, didn't know of the vision of the person that designed it. Unfortunately we currently have a much more restrictive, inaccessible tree than we clearly meant to get.
SOS training. I just completed a number of lessons, culminating in Add Infinitum, because I wanted Herd Immunity before the next event. But it’s not open to me. Is there an error on the tree? I’m a bit pieced that I wasted the Field Manuals! It certainly looks like there are two ways to get to it Thanks
Yeah, a lot of us have reported this issue. There's another spot in the SOS lessons where it also will only unlock from the left not the right. We are hoping there's a fix before the event, but it has been weeks at this point with nothing.
@HPWUrobert is there any update on the herd immunity / inaccessible node issue raised here? If there are updates in another thread please let us know! Thank you :)
@HPWUTeam with the WOW event beginning in five days can we please get an update on herd immunity? That is integral for this event so please let us know if it will be fixed prior to Friday.
@HPWUrobert why isn't it also available by unlocking the lesson on the right? It looks like it should unlock from either side, and shouldn't have been connected like that if you couldn't also access it from the other side. Absolutely no one is able to unlock it from the left yet since Clarion Call takes SEVENTY DADA books, and we've only been allowed to earn 20 so far.
@HPWUrobert that is really disappointing. If it can't be unlocked from the right, there should not be a link there. There are a few other examples of links not working, posted by other players above. Are they working as intended? How are players supposed to know the correct route to reach lessons if links are thrown in that don't work?
I will ditto what @Dogoutlaw stated above. If there is a link left, right, up, or down then the lesson should unlock. Otherwise we are being set up to not know which lessons will unlock. I have unlocked many lessons from the left and right so there has to be continuity within the links.
Then I have spent resources for nothing on trolley treats, de-vine intervention, winning mentality and ad infinitum as the only reason for which I took them was to unlock herd immunity.
@HPWUrobert would you care to explain your statement! There is clearly a link from right to left and left to right indicating it’s accessible from either direction. Other nodes have the link missing and therefore we know you can not unlock the next one over. As a player ths5 spent resources to get there, I require a valid reason for your response!
Would really appreciate if herd immunity gets fixed before the wizarding weekend @hpwulola@HPWURiver ! That was the main reason of unlocking nearby nodes. :)
Seen a lot of posts regarding 'chasing waterfalls' and people approached it from 2 sides already. I can confirm that it will be unlocked if you have all 3 tracks open!

I have a node locked in the SOS training (3) that shouldn't be locked after I completed a connected node
Herd Immunity should be unlocked after completing the Inn upgrade to the right, but it's still not available despite having enough books.
Same problem here.
This should be fixed before we get the WOWW Event, otherwise it's not pertinent.

Same issue with Herd Immunity. Can’t unlock it after completing the previous node. Trying to complete this for the event later this month.
Player 13121417 in WU Discord reported that unlocking "So Wrong It's Right" in Calamity Essentials III does not unlock Foretelling Foundables.
The Businessman (CE I) didn't unlock from the right
Top Secret Package (CE I) didn't unlock from the right.
Enchanting Epiphany (CE II) didn't unlock from below.

Just to clarify for some, nodes are generally not accessible from below. You usually need to go on a downward, or horizontal, path.

In Calamity Essentials II, "Whetstone for the Mind" does not unlock "Was Mundungus Here?".
