I read advice from someone here yesterday, moderator-type, that it would be best for us to wait to place images Until full update is released so we may receive whatever new benefit comes with placing images. I am finding that my fragment numbers are not increasing beyond the required 5/5 or 3/3. I assumed that the counter would simply continue counting up - 7/5, 15/5 and so on and that I would ultimately be able to place the number of images commensurate with the number of fragments, once update was released. Now I am worried that I have lost these extra fragments. Please advise.
@Specialivy Yes. Any fragments earned once you have the maximum fragment count are lost. As there is no ETA for the release of the new books, you need to use your best judgment to determine which images you want to place and which images you want to leave at max, in order to earn the new books, when they are available.
If you are ready to prestige a complete page, prestige it, so you are not halting your progress for an unknown amount of time.
If you are not to at least bronze, you will not receive any of the new books from prestiging images, as well; so there is no reason not to prestige to bronze, unless it is a rare foundable that you somehow got to max and you are waiting on a more common foundable, in order to prestige the page.
@Specialivy i believe that since the green star feature was released, the numbers do not increase once the number of fragments is at it's max.
The question is whether you are willing to wait until the full update is released or if you would rather cash in now and try to get those foundables refilled before the update occurs.
Since i believe the update will be unrolled sooner than later, i will wait until the update to place my finished foundables.

Personally, I am saving my images to place, as we were told that the SOS training would go live early this week. However, if you are in an area that has lots of spawns and you value xp over the new resources, then you might prefer to play and prestige now. It is a matter of preference.
Reminder: SOS Training is not automatically live with the 2.14 update, stay tuned on the forum for an announcement post when the feature is live.
While we are awaiting SOS Training, there will be a few inconsistencies on the app. One example is the 0 shown in the friends list. This should be replaced by a value once SOS Training goes live. Everyone's appraisal value will be adjusted with the feature as well.

Having placed some images which indicate those rewards, I still don't have any manuals displayed in the vault utility section where I would expect them to appear. There appears to be a bug in either the rewards display (i.e. placing images isn't really awarding the indicated items) or in the vault (the manuals are really being rewarded, but they don't get displayed yet). Could we get official clarification on which thing is wrong?
@XanderGree where did you read that the manuals are ingame available? The announcement from this post still says "soon", so they shouldnt be available yet
@HITI1 If you go into the registry, and tap on an image it brings up the info page for that item. If you expand the rewards section (tap the little arrow to the right of the chest icon) it shows you what rewards you get for placing that image at each level. The rewards now list both Family XP and SOS manuals to be awarded.

There be bugs. Ministry Time Turner does not have any Ministry Manual rewards listed in the registry (thanks to @grimmiii for reporting it in Discord).
I had to update today. First, could you color code the levels in the fortresses? I could tell my group "level 10-2" and it was easy. Now scrolling with no numbers makes it harder to find. Second, there might be designer concepts to putting a 6 digit number to stand for your accomplishments, but the level number was easier to read and judge.
@Navik Since the registry page needs to be at least at bronze level to reward the new books, you can't get them by placing images on brilliant event pages.

I recived the update minutes ago. Then I downloaded 600mb of content.
I'm not having any problems. Fortress delay just disapeared. Not problems when loggin. Not DADA books lost.

the new book its seem give many to exploration traces. max is about 55 books?

Didn't notice books while playing the brilliant event images. Are these supposed to be excluded?
Friend scores seem to be updated as well. Possibly reflecting the SOS score.
