Missing Neighborhoods

Ok so here’s the thing, I recently moved to a newly built/currently constructing neighborhood in Northern California. The streets are on the maps (Google Maps, Open Street Map, etc) and we can get mail delivered on the address BUT the streets doesn’t appear on the game which also means that foundables/portmanteaus/ingredients/spell energy doesn’t appear.
I have wondered (1) has anyone been to the same experience and (2) does anyone have any idea if and when WU team will update their map to include newly built neighborhoods.

Wizards Unite uses OpenStreetMap data. So first and foremost, you should check to see if your neighbourhood appears on that map. If it doesn't, you can add it! (It's basically a mapping wiki.)
If it does, it may simply be that Niantic hasn't imported the addition yet, and timing is never super clear for that. But I'd check the OpenStreetMap data first, because if it doesn't appear there, until it does, it will never appear in WU.
It actually already appears on Open Street Maps. I suppose they still hasn’t updated the map :(
@MLX92 as odd as it may seem, I have friends in areas where the Open Street Map says they exist and yet they see nothing other than large blank green fields on their game. It might be worth finding some people in ingress and seeing if there's anything in the area they can recommend for a poi. That could be what potentially kicks the hpwu side into catching up.
I’m in the same boat as you. My house is 4 years old and on Open Street Maps, but just a big green nothing in WU/Pogo.
i did get spawns with the last overhaul though
My neighborhood is about 10 years old an just shows as a green swath of land, will check the Open Street Map.
I find that walking around the two blocks of my neighborhood does yield a small but not insignificant amount of foundables and ingredients. The hardest to get are portmanteau's and spell energy.

I live in a rural area, I order to collect ingredients or energy, I must drive several miles tigons anything. When I open the game, I can see roads in the distance but my neighborhood is just green fields. I have rad all of the comments in this vein, and none seem to have the answer of how to get “noticed” by the game. Does WU read and try to help with these questions?
