Moon icon wrong for waxing gibbous phase

I noticed last night that the icon for the moon showed a waning gibbous moon, although we're in the waxing phase (the title for the phase was right). It should have been mostly light with the crescent dark, and it was the other way round, mostly dark with a white crescent.

I have not been paying attention to the moon icons so don't know if there is a problem with any others. (Anyone else notice moon phase icon issues?)

    The moon stays the same, it's in the wrong place and it's even the wrong size. I've heard a rumour it's not made of cheese. But it's our moon and we love it.

    Mine looks right. I took a screenshot, although of course I can’t post it here. The gold large bit should be the light waxing gibbous, the uncolored part would be the dark crescent. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Hard to compare without pics.

    I noticed this as well. Also, last new moon in game was not really a new moon... But the game said it was, and showed the moon in game as a big, full-orb. Lol

    Last night the game showed the icon for a full moon, even though it wasn’t. When tapped on it it showed me the correct phase but the icon on the screen was incorrect.

    Its been correct before, but it wasn’t last night.
