Recommend venue of "Wizerds Unite Fun Festival 2021 or 2022"
It's really sad to called off Wizerds Unite Fun Festival 2020.
But I think this is the chance to recommend our hometown, how suitable as future "Wizerds Unite Fun Festival" location.
So, please tell your "This is the best place for Wizerds Unite Fest 2021"

I know, I should become first penguin.
My recommendation is "Tokyo Toshimaen" in Japan.
Seibu Group is planning & negotiating
to establish New Thema Park of Harry Potter.
One of fantastic point, Classical merry-go-round "Carousel EL Dorado"(made in germany 1907, certified Mechanical heritage 2020) in there.
So, if Toshimaen will be the venue of Wizerds Unite Fest, participants probably feel like "I 'm in Amusement Park at Magical World now!"
What about a virtual Wizards Unite Fan Fest? Due to everything going on in the world right now and no end of Covid in sight I would pay a decent amount of money to engage in a weekend of a Fan Fest.
I think Bangkok, Thailand would make a great location for a future fan fest. We have loads of PoIs, exhibition centres, parks, shopping malls... It could work really well. It is also a central hub.
Alternatively, Singapore is a great hub for getting people in from all over SE Asia.
@ClairabusGryff I agree with you. I would support a virtual fan fest and buy a reasonably priced ticket.
If the "Fan fest" has the same "rules" and/or "restrictions" as the PoGO counterpart, it isn't as easy as just "recommending a city".
For PoGO-Events, the criteria that are taken into consideration:
(also, keep in mind that the list might even be incomplete)
@Magpie31
Actually, I'v never been in other country.
So it's my personal impression, Southeast Asia (including Thailand) have fascination that seems funtastic & exotic, especially Buddhist temple.
I would feel like able to use mysterious magic power if I can play Wizerds Unite Fun Festival in Bangkok!
@Lucoire An interesting list of requirements. Though, as I recall, the Yokohama Fanfest took part across 3 separate venues, so the acreage doesn't need to be in one spot, theoretically.
But yes, there is more to organising a good event that just a city.
@ClairabusGryff
Yes, l think it’s most realistic solutions in this world situation.
But too sad.
I can't stand without telling the dream after this hard time.
So, if you would like, please tell me about place for wizerds unite in your country.
@sakiyuishiro i live in the USA and specifically Texas so I would say in the Dallas area would be good .
Where would you like to go since you haven’t been overseas?
@ClairabusGryff
I saw some images of Texas.
I feel Dallas County Courthouse is wonderful!
If someone said to me "Actually, this is one of the office owned MACUSA." I might believe.
I only can use simple English, except mother tongue.
So, I want to visit English-speaking countries as my first step traveling abroad.
Well…the most serious problem is I can't get holidays…
Let's see, if we were just looking for close to home, I could offer up the Seattle area... more specifically I'd say Marymoor Park in Redmond. They host a ton of concerts and events there.
Could easily meet most of @Lucoire 's requirements and are actually near the satellite offices of Niantic.
We have relatively beautiful summers out here and a fair bit of other tourist opportunities.
Plenty of nearby places to play and the area is pretty rich with Poi's and places to stay.
Also water, mountains, beaches, hot springs, craft brew and wineries galore; A huge amount of indoor and outdoor activities.
We would just have to calm down the riots and the Covid and we might be nearly perfect!
I forget how spoiled we are until I put it all down!
Las Vegas!!!
@BORMACSKA
Seattle!
For many Japanese, Seattle might be most familiar city of America on the sports news.
Hot springs,wine,Beer…that's strongest combo!
Nature tour sounds interesting!
It need more than 3weeks at least after WU Fun Festival.
@CeruleanGirl
Wait, I'm not millionaire!
I can't walk into Las Vegas.
@sakiyuishiro definitely if the fest is held anywhere that isn't "home" plan to spend a little extra time to explore the area, there's always so much more to see and do outside of a park or convention center!
My friends and I love playing tour guide to friends coming to visit, so much to see and do almost all year round!
Which sport teams from Seattle are so popular over there? (we have a few here😊)
@Bormacska
Seattle Mariners!
Even if not enthusiastic MLB fan, we all know the emblem and name of Seattle Mariners.
My hometown also has a nickname "Mori no Miyako” (similar meaning to Emerald City),
but our town well known as "good for live, not so good for sightseeing".
I'm so jealous fascinating of your city!
