Challenge registry

hello my fellow witches and wizards

just wanted to ask a couple of questions to see if anyone had any ideas or suggestions?

my challenge registry has the red dot but nothing to place or level up?

also I have been playing a good hour or so in fortress level 3&4. Trying to find formidable pixies I only found 4. Any tips on how to find more?

    See all the related posts on this. It is a commonly experienced problem.

    My favorite explanation of this is someone's observation that they were receiving books from challenges that did not appear on the registry page.
