I have used 8 Trace Tonics, with zero Newt and Veil spawns. I found one Newt in the wild. Did they forget to increase the spawn rates for Trace Tonics? Mine have been bulling just generic garbage.
Ahh.. missed that one before, thanks @Kodokmag for pointing that out. at least bonuses aren't a dealbreaker, although the increase in capacity would be lovely. Silly me for just picking up a capacity increase bundle the other day!
@BenTiger Those ones are not boosted to anywhere near the level of the other Ministry of Magic foundables, unfortunately.
On the infographic from OrangeWizard, it says “There will be increased sightings of the above mentioned foundables throughout week 1 of this brilliant event, just not all equally.”
@Magpie31 I’ve only tried it once so far. I used a lot of potions and spell energy so I am low on Potents now. I went out and refilled my spell energy though so I’m about to try again but I’m not sure how it will go with so few Potents available. I don’t have any unicorn hairs so I can’t really just brew more. 🤷🏼♀️
@Bormacska Yes, it is highest chamber. That’s my point. Because of the last time when so many low level wizards were carried through Dark V, they are back to get the bonus task. If they hadn’t been carried to Dark V last time, their highest chamber would be more at a level they could handle. They weren’t ready for it last time and they still aren’t, but they are going in anyway because they want to finish the bonus task. So they are being carried once again in a chamber they shouldn’t be in.
for what it’s worth, i went 3 for 3 in fortress ruins chamber 5 for getting the 3 fragments of the brilliant MoM landmark banner ... can’t say for certain whether i got lucky this time or that chamber is a sweet spot
To battle in the highest unlocked chamber should've been the task in the Fortress Day instead of forcing the lower level and inexperienced players into Dark V. They are not to blame for attempting the same during this event. But it makes it harder for us all. Therefore I'm stocking up on potents for this instead of using them for the high foundables.
(If you see me in the chamber don't hesitate to pass me focus. I'll cast Proficiency and shield everybody, just sayin' 😉😆)
I am currently waiting on my potions to brew for Part 3, but I had to go out and stick a couple of Dark Detectors in an inn to get the High Threat foundables for Part 2 (and even then, maybe it's just me, but DD foundables seem to have a much higher than average flee rate!) I am running low on TTDs and I think I'd have had to burn a ton to get the five required for that set of tasks!

I try to play the Chambers by myself as often as possible, and methodically rise, level by level... so I know if I have to, I can rely on myself /my skills to beat 5he chamber. My b.friend loves jumping around from low to really high (way higher than his level), just for fun, but dies pretty often, and I think it might have to do with depending on other players with higher skill advancements to push you through.
Eh, to each his own. Though, I guess, in many ways, you are better off playing with a team, I just don't like being that Prof sitting on the sidelines, painting my nails lol. I like to contribute.
I've heard there are players who pretty much enter higher chambers and take like 1 of the easier foes, and sit & wait for everyone else to battle the rest for them... #WU-holes 🙄

I have completed 1 wizarding challenge in my highest but doesn't say I have. What does it want me to do to get it. I have tried by myself and with others still not getting it.
@Witch4 Did you do the highest you have already beaten, or the highest unlocked? I think you have to do the highest unlocked chamber even if you haven't beaten it yet. I'm not positive about that though. Does anyone know for sure? @hpwulola ?

and to my last team battle just now. sorry got kicked out from battle, cannot get back in right away because some connectivity error. fortunately i had cast bravery charm at the start, hope it helps.
I'm not sure if I should feel foolish or angry, but I didn't realize the Estimulo crate was a sticker, rather than an actual Estimulo potion crate. Very disappointing.
totally worth it for me to complete wizarding challenge in highest unlocked chamber (dark5 for me) in order to get bonus reward of ingredient capacity increase by 30 units
Just wanted to thank the HPWU team for a fantastic event so far, maybe my favourite yet. The new graphics are brilliant and I'm LOVING all of the toadstool drops 🍄🍄🍄 and the extended ingredients reward. So handy!

@BollaRice I have found 4. 3 in the wild, 1 from DD. I have used over 30 TT and only spawned a couple Severe foundables (not The Veil). @Owlx must have serious luck to get one from a TT.
@Dragons1111 - you could give it a try and at worst sacrifice a level one runestone in your highest unlocked chamber — just do it solo so that you don’t hurt other players.
@Dragons1111 So my highest level is D5. I decided to play with randoms just to get that task out of the way. Got on the knight bus, and found an open channel that showed three others. Turned out they were all professors (I am a maxed auror) but with less than 30 seconds on the wait clock I decided to go through and not jump out of the lobby. Every one of them bailed on me and I was left with 16 foes, mostly spiders and erklings. I failed the challenge, but still completed the task. So I can say from experience that you only have to complete the battle, not win it. Use a brilliant stone if you want, go in by yourself and try the foes you like and let the clock run down.

The same sort of thing occurred in past events.
The Veil and Ministry Newt Scamander foundables are still rare but have been increased for the event. I'll mention this feedback to the event team!

With very lengthy delay problem, 3 teammates task and highest unlock chamber become hide and seek game to me

I have done 3 wizard challenges with the One Year Later runestone and I haven’t received a fragment of the ministry flag. Am I doing something wrong?

Completed the "win in your highest unlocked chamber" challenge but received no prize and the game says the task is still unfinished.

Yes, twice once with TTD once in the wild. Both were in a game known high spawn area. My last previous siting was probably January.
