Something is not working as described in the challenge update. Ihave done more than 6 fortress challenges with stones ranging from 1 to 5 and gotten 0 family fragments.
I understand the need to balance a game for sustainability and longevity of play. However, this seems like a significant nerf to fortresses, and for me personally, makes them much less fun to play. I started doing fortresses much more frequently after the fragment rebalance, but after this I'm not sure I'll continue. Just doesn't seem worth it to me, for the amount of time I'd have to pour in from my couch. This is exacerbated by the knight bus delay bug, and the fact that exploration fragments are not guaranteed in most fortress levels. I'd much rather take a walk than sit for hours on my couch trying to rack up fortress fragments.
Interested to see what this is leading up to in your overall design plan. I get that communicating that to the masses isn't really what happens in this game but a few hints might be proper to help restore some faith.
Same. Decided to start another profession after hoarding for awhile. I’ve been with you all since launch. I was actually excited to play between the 2. And then this. Why in gods name would I start another profession that will now take a year to get the remaining 200 red books I need. I love the knight bus. Found enjoyment in seeing progression in getting a second and maybe a third profession. But now I’m over it. Im still missing a ton of fragments. Only a small percentage were given back. There is no purpose for me in even trying anymore. Sigh. Guess I’ll head back over to my switch now.
This is appalling!! It's going from bad to worse! Not many people are playing this game any more. Because of the continuous on going unresolved issues! Yet you guys are making it so difficult for the few remaining players to keep playing 😡👎 Sort it out! Do something!!

@SS1951 It is working as intended. Family fragments are rare at low level challenges.
Should’ve kept it ‘easier’ to get red books.
why punish those that really need them?
and WHY, WHY, WHY reduce challenge reward points? Absolutely no good reason except to benefit the developers.
and as one person said: you ARE losing players (which equals $$$) every minute!!

Just starting to touch magical device fragment.probably skip the wand fragments. 😬

At least make the rune 5 reward significantly greater than rune 4. Its rarest rune, placing it in challenge got to be worth it.
