TIP: Tactical tapping to get extra items
Hello fellow wandering-wizards,
Today, I bring my latest findings that I will freely share with all of you!
I have no hard data just observations.
When a foundable begins to apparate, the center of the swirl gives off a white light. Similar to a WrackSpurs.
Tap on it, dead-center, and it appears to return extra items at the end.
Nevertheless, it is very tricky to get the exact middle of the swirl however, I found extra items in this way many a time.
Also, when tapping on WrackSpurs during a portkey event, always do extra taps to attempt to activate x2, x3 multipliers.
Share your thoughts and results!
Keep on walking and return those foundables!

The 2x, 3x, 4x multipliers occur if you uncover multiple of the same item during wrackspurt selection.
To add clarity, the multipliers apply for additional XP, additional foundables and additional ingredients.
That is if you find granian hair and then find hermit crab shell you will get a 2x multiplier indication on the hermit crab shell. If you then find sneezewort you will get a 3x multiplier indication on the sneezewort.
There will be no foolish wand waving, silly incarnations or tactical tapping in this class.
@Strainery @Osprey1 Thank you for the details on the portkeys.
@Osprey1 Innovation requires going past the norm, even if it makes one look silly. In this post, it's encouraged to post any observations that perhaps will yield the finding of an easter egg. ;) "Those Tricksy Devseses!"
Now back to tapping all the things, class!

I've had extra items appear without tapping on anything.
I've had multipliers happen on first time items in Wrackspurts.
I think you guys are seeing what you want to see, but I'm happy to be proved wrong on this.
I gave it a try for a while but so far I couldn't notice an increase in extras.
