@DharkhenRhall I've also heard to stay way from landmarks. I've seen leprechauns at dusk in sparse areas by walking in places I've seen Oddities other times of day so that's my plan.
@Osprey1 Doxies only appear when the ingame-weather is "Sunrise", which is roughly 1h before to 1h after the time that sunrise is reported by weather-services.
Doxies are tough to come by. I'm usually out and about during the hour before and after sunrise, but I'll still go for a couple days at a time without seeing one. Traced a couple this morning, which allowed me to complete that section of the latest SOS challenge. I won't be gathering any tufts of werewolf hair for a few more days though.
I had a doxy in my livingroom yesterday morning. So they will spawn anywhere- just at dawn. Werewolves will be plentyiful next week during the full moon. On another note, I was tripping over leprechauns last night at dusk. They were everywhere!
I usually see 3 to 4 doxies on my way to work, they are out like 4:20 to 6:20 am ish at the moment. I have seen them at dawn only, if dusk, I have yet to see them then.

By far the most challenging assignment yet. I had only ever seen two prior to getting this assignment. I had to go looking to find them. Still need two more. Best spot for them so far are parks that aren't landmarked. Still tough to come by. Mine showed up when the weather was Dawn.
@CytopeAchen both of my oddities pages have prestiged once and the oddities page is my highest ranking non-challenges registry family at rank 36...oddity hunts drive me. could say what level 2 prestige doxy hunt takes..would you rather wait and see? its not all that bad.
pretty much all the advice here is correct as far as i can see...doxy is dawn only, leprechauns i only find at dawn/dusk.
have found centaurs at all times, ditto irklings.
serpents only dusk, night, dawn - though more at dusk then any other time.
vampires have never found except at night, same with pixies.
of course warewolves during the full moon.
no contest the hardest oddity to find is that centaur bow, though. i get way many more horned serpent eggs then centaur bows, and oddity runes are hard to come by.
@Digitalis very impressive! I can guess its probably 50. I had a productive morning today and knocked out 10 or so and finally put that SOS behind me. I appreciate the difficulty, it gives a sense of accomplishment when you complete it.
The doxy challenge is driving me crazy. I’m not at all a morning person, and waking up at 5 ish to maybe be able to catch just one, if any, has been awful.
The area where I live is absolutely wonderful at night when it comes to catching any of the other types of oddities. I barely have to move to get vampires, werewolves, leprechauns and the rest. But Doxies? Yeah, only ever seen them 3 times max, and I play this game a lot.
Also... what’s up with the bow? That hasn’t never so much as showed up for me. Anyone know what you gotta do to even see it?

Doxies are rumored to be out at dawn. You'll have to wait for the full moon for werewolves according to the underground.
I'm always out at dawn...6ish but have never seen one. I'll go out at 5am 2morrow and see if I have any luck.

I can't find anything at the moment... On a weather advisory for a tropical storm so traces and ingredients have become scarce...
Has anyone seen an Oddities Marker? I've seen one for all the others but I haven't found one for Oddities yet.

I had a lot of horned serpents this morning (between 4am and 5am). No luck with them doxy critters.

I've been looking every day and get maybe 2 (at most) each morning before daylight. Once daylight hits they disappear.
