What I’m looking for is an assurance that Niantic is still working on that restoration. If they’re not, we’re entitled to be informed so we can make our own decisions about whether to trust a game that deletes months of gameplay and bungs us a few potions to say sorry.
Players affected need to be given all monies back, or given their fragments back. Nothing else will suffice in my case. And it’s important we don’t let them think we’re dropping a serious complaint.

I´m trying 56/55 on a golden pages with a foundable with a green dot and I can not go over 55.
In the last days I´m skipping some Fawkes because I have 11/5 with a green dot already. This update will make me have 12/5 whitout prestiged this foundable again? I´m saving this foundable for when I prestiged the entire page.
@Magobyte I understand it that way that you won't loose any fragments anymore if you already have more than required and get another one. If you have 11/5 you will not have -x/5, 0/5 or 5/5 afterwards as could have happened before the update. You will keep the 11/5 now.
But I don't think you can get more fragments as long as you don't prestige the page or place the image again. You will just get the XP-points.
appreciate the responsiveness, but hoping WU can come through all restore the fragments. Seems a big task, all those fragments whether it was my FanFest and CD dragons or fortress wands etc, will be very glad if they can pull out a victory from their rabbit hole.

I don't work for Niantic so I can't help solve the problem, and I get how frustrating it is but Lola already confirmed in multiple posts that they are working on it and will do their best to get our fragments back to us. I really don't know what other kind of assurance you're looking for. She's a direct employee of Niantic, her word IS Niantic's word.
Night bus loads a little faster, but there is still a delay, when loading the Runes page... hopefully, there will be another update on this, by the time we get our fragments restored.

@Magobyte@Lycindelle With Repeat Sticker Collection, the intention is that you place a Sticker when the Fragment count is full (ex: 10/10) and then continue to collect Fragments. Let's say you collect 5 Fragments and then prestige the Page, those 5 Fragments will carry over to the next Page.
After the 2.13 update, some players may see 12/10 since we adjusted the Fragment counts.
Initially, when people placed the sticker they lost 2 Fragments. Now, place the sticker and you will keep those extra Fragments and be able to continue collecting more.
When we share the full fix announcement, we will include a more in depth explanation of this!

Will the lost fragments from this activity/bug also be restored? Or does the fix will only take care of the fragments lost because they weren't rolling over after prestiging the page/the foundable? I had this happen a couple of times with the challenges foundables where I lost quite a lot of fragments (30+) after a single battle.
i see fragments are fine from pages not prestiged and i see the brilliant event james potter plaque is now fixed.
just the fragments left on the pages i prestiged that were not already gold just after the update. if page was gold already and i lost a few fragments, will live. Hope to see those wands, regional dragons, sorting hats, etc fixed. Fingers crossed.

Placing, and re-placing the image means you've 'spent' the fragments, correct? So you have a choice... Either re-place the image, or hold onto the extra fragments (up to rehitting the max) to carry over when you prestige. Is this correct?
If I can make one suggestion, add a confirmation box when placing an image to avoid accidental clicks, and allow players to still view the image information without placing the image.

"For players who Prestiged any Registry Pages or placed a Image between May 7th, 10:19 AM PDT to May 7th, 9:45 PM PDT, we are adding back the number of lost Fragments of any non-Brilliant Foundable that now has a lower Fragment count compared to the number of Fragments found in the Registry on May 6th."
So if I lost three of a particular fragment during the bug. But have found and returned two of that same foundable over the last two weeks, then I'm only getting back one of my lost foundables?

I'd like to echo @Navik 's suggestion about a confirmation button to place an image or somesuch- cos i seriously know that one of these days while I'm scrolling through to check something, I'll accidentally place Dumbledore or something whilst I'm nearly there on getting the page to silver & then the aftermath.....
Well- no one wants to see a grown woman curled up in a ball in the corner whilst sucking her thumb, rocking & crying do they!!? I mean... it's just not dignified at all! 😂
after recent update, my game freezes . I think it goes straight to challenges , but there's nothing there but the frame. When I x out of it, it goes tk the regular screen, but it's either pixilated or comes up with confoundables which do not respond when clicked on. I Uninstaller & reinstalled and restarted my phone. Nothing changed.
The gift pack was all fine and good, but I updated my app and now I can no longer enter a wizard challenge in any fortress. I have tried the whole uninstall/reinstall thing to no avail. When I try to engage in a challenge, the game freezes.

Just updated...Night Bus worked well initially. Now, no more Night Bus icon. ???
So...I’m also not able to use potions....anyone else having this trouble?

Placing, and re-placing the image means you've 'spent' the fragments, correct? So you have a choice... Either re-place the image, or hold onto the extra fragments (up to rehitting the max) to carry over when you prestige. Is this correct?
