Maybe try waiting a bit (or in worst case even much) longer. There is a known bug which causes a lengthy delay after choosing a chamber. It can take 40 to 50 seconds or even more till you get to the room where to select a runestone. Meanwhile the game appears to be frozen, but if you wait long enough you might eventually get there.
It's quite annoying but with a bit of luck and much patience you'll at least be able to take part in a good fight.
I had a very productive community day. I took screenshots afterwards of my registry pages both in exploration, challenges, and profession just in case. I am pretty pleased with how much I was able to get done on that one event to catch back up again.
Hey everyone! Update 2.13.1 is currently rolling out. This update includes the Diagon Alley store pack created for players as a thank you for your patience as we work on fixing the Fragment Issues.
It also includes these Bug Fixes:
General:
Fixed an issue with players’ games freezing upon entering Registry and receiving a ‘Connection Lost’ message.
Fixed an issue with Brilliant Event foundable images showing as blank when a player goes to its detailed view.
Knight Bus:
Fixed an issue with the Knight Bus button being unresponsive for players. This often was paired with seeing a ‘Connection Lost’ message.
Repeat Image Collection:
Players should now see the correct amount of Fragments rolled over after placing an image.
Players will be able to return Foundables and go over the max Fragment count without losing extra Fragments.
I would like to note that It seems the gift does not com e from the update itself because I am still at version 2.13 on iOS, there is no update available on the appstor3 but I still got the awesome gift.
@hpwulola is 2.13.1 supposed to give us back the fragments we lost? Because I downloaded the update and all assets and did not get them back. 😔 I have restarted my game in the hopes that would trigger it but it didn't. I definitely appreciate the free gift though, those coins bumped me over 475 for an expansion pack!
@hpwulola@LionessMolly So is Niantic standing by your statement in this announcement suggesting that fragment collections decimated when players prestiged before being told not to WILL have their fragments restored? Because this update has failed to restore those fragments, and lots of us are only still playing based on the assurance you will restore what you have deleted.
Not wishing to sound ungrateful, but 18 potions and some gold represents less than 1% of the losses in terms of 100s of fragments, months of game time and money that you’ve inadvertently taken from us.
In short, are you standing by your comment, in this announcement, or should I uninstall the game?
”We want to reassure you all that our planned fix will restore your lost Fragments without performing any rollback. Rest assured that gameplay progress players have made since these bugs have occurred will be unchanged.”
@Digdet315 - Lola said above in a reply to me that this update did not include the fix, they are working on it and she will update when she has news. I misread the post too and am disappointed that the fragment fix is not yet available, but I understand that it's a complicated issue that they have to come at carefully so as to not make the problem worse. All we as players can do is wait. Rushing a fix can cause more harm than good, so let's just be patient and let them work on it. 🙂

I've downloaded the newest update, but when I place a fragment, the fragment counts restarded at 0. Can this also be fixed?

lengthy delay upon choosing runestone not fixed? 🤔
If anything the lengthy delay just got alot worse. I went from maybe a 15 sec delay to more like a minute long delay. Please fix.

@LionessMolly they’re still working on that fix I believe. But this update prevented further loss for those that didn’t lose them already.
Fyi, the lost connection pop up upon start up is still there post update. @hpwulola
