I only joined the forum to comment about the messed up update - with loss of my fragments, I am at the same place as I would have been if I had only got green books from BA for last 6m, but had been able to carry over fragments count from 6m ago. That's a lot of progress lost !
@Bluebell26 I would advise finding out a little more before blindly signing petitions, though :)
Basically, there was a nasty bug when they rolled out the new update. When you prestige a page, you are supposed to carry over excess fragments to your new level. So if you had 7 McGonagalls, but on the new system only needed 3, you would carry over the spare 4 to the bronze page. It meant that none of the fragments were wasted. Unfortunately, this didn't work as intended, so when people prestiged, it reset to 0 instead of carrying over.
There was an in game notification, warning not to prestige until after the update, but the error continued. In social media channels, players were advised not to prestige until further word had come from the team, but this latter advice was not clear in game.
Even those who waited, some lost out on rewards as there was no in game tutorial or explanation on how the new system worked. Sone tapped on objects that were already placed, so cashed in their foundables instead of rolling them over.
People are understandably upset that they have lost fragments.
On the flip side though, with the increased spawn rates, players like myself have seen our first Tom Riddles, finally got our McGonagalls and so on. If we were to roll back to a previous save, we would lose out on all that progress. So a straight roll back ti a previous save wouldn't work.
Ideally, people could submit their screenshots of previous registry pages (players were advised a few days before the update to screenshot their pages) and be reinbursed. Or, if a roll back is the only option, that roll back should be optional.
Please reset. Just for the fact you have changed (again) how dawdle draught potions worked. It's crazy! I am afraid to even play in case of losing my stuff, like so many others. I have been following the discord and your polite 'oops' is not enough.
I would like to see something done all mine have started over Unreal that was a lot of work for the fragments to start over . It has discouraged me from playing.
This is worse than the Game of Thrones petitions. People don't like some thing in a game, wah wah wah, change the game, I don't like it. Give me a break. Play the game the way the creator makes out, or quit! Plain and simple.

This is a good thing it makes the game worth playing now if they can sort out the wait time in the lobby at the Hogwarts Fortress and I'm talking about the delay the time you enter a chamber and select a runestone that is ridiculous over a minute seriously is that a server issue but maybe it's like Zynga Farmville the first and original since 1999 has been broke since the third Farm and they don't care they keep rolling out that beautiful Bean footage I hate that game but I'm playing it during quarantine it's insane to have over 2,000 pots of anything on any Farm but now the Fortress at Hogwarts and the Knight Bus is live I'm on that bus so I will not be signing this petition to roll back the update keep it because I'm about to go gold with this recent brilliant event
Doesn't one generally list the grievances when asking for a redress of those grievances? You don't list what's wrong, just a petition to have it rolled back.
Umm... No. This "petition" is stupid. It's poorly set up, and it's not going to go anywhere. I'm against this petition. I love the changes. As someone stuck at home from being immunocompromised, I REALLY like the Knight Bus.
They are many opinions, and I understand them all...
yet I worked hard to reach my lvls and I feel like now everyone can easily reach all gold that diminishes the hard work of some players like myself...
I do like the old ways!!!!
For the rest of the people who like the new way: I see why you may like it, ability to obtain more books ...
If the game administration will chose to go back and restore the game there will be a lot of happy people, me including, yet, ... there will be a lot of upset people as well...
I hope we can go back to the old ways yet give us an opportunity to work for books... maybe more SOS weekly challenges that would grant us a reward in a form of books... for myself I have completed all SOS challenges back in September of 2019...
Please, try to understand those who want to go back to the old ways; we worked so hard to reach our lvls and golden pages and progress in profession, it's simply not fare to us.
