Bait and switch inns

So I've noticed several times that there's something funky with the inn mechanic.

You go to an inn. Let's say you see 3 chicken, a bar of chocolate and some pumpkin juice. The odds for your energy pool are in your favor. You spin it. It lags for half a second and behold... Two out of three chicken plates turn into pumpkin juice. Not so great for your energy pool and of course it is what you draw.

Anyone else noticed this?

    Chickens, chocolate bars and pumpkin juice, interesting. In my neck of the woods, I get turkey dinners, Jelly Beans, Soya Sauce and the odd pint of ale. Either way, when I fuel up at an inn I notice a peekaboo dance with the trays that give you a flash of what's on all the trays at once before revealing your selection. Sometimes I'll see nothing but Soya Sauce during the little dance of trays and end up with turkey dinner. Not so sure that dance is truly revealing or anything more than just animation.

    Just frustrating when that rural inn kicks out too much 3 energy pumpkin juice or jelly beans.

    I'm calling it chicken instead of turkey cause of the "winner winner chicken dinner".

    Anyway, I was kinda wondering if it was just a discordance between what you see and what you get aka a bug/feature or something more sinister in order to push people to spend gold on energy.

    Hence me throwing it out here to see what your thoughts or experiences are.

    I'm still laughing I thought pumpkin juice was soya sauce (I might benefit from a bigger screen). Pub Weasley's Inn and Three Broomsticks are the inns that cover my neighbourhood. I've made 1158 visits to inns so far and I've yet to run into ****'s and Mash or Fish and Chips. Everything else appears to be accurate, for my two inns anyhow.

    Haha, I thought it was soy sauce too! Is violet pudding the fancy cake? All I know is that I am really sick of getting tea! Gimme food! 😂

    Soy sauce for me too! I'm so glad I wasn't the only one.

    I've driven all over my town and I've only seen the Weasley inn and the tea shop. I didn’t even know there were others until I read this thread. 🙄
