    They BETTER rollback lost fragment counts from prestiging resets count to zero. I had collected 70 Doxy fragments (the old goal was 100)....and now it’s 70/38 I will be SUPER mad if I lose 32 fragments


    Luckily I didn’t finish something else on that page so that page in particular is not prestiged yet but across the board must’ve lost tons like this!

    It’s been incredibly frustrating. First, my game was swarmed with Magizoology foundables (which still has not been resolved). Then I had gone on to prestiging all those pages... only for the warning NOT to prestige them come on an hour later. The irony is I even checked the app store for game updates before prestiging them! Since there was no update, I went ahead. Can we still recover those extra fragments?

    Reboot our files to before the %#**&#.

    Then, when you have the bugs worked out, start the game again.

    Yep, I also prestiged all my pages before seeing the warning not to prestige them...

    If Niantic value their players then they should surely restore the lost fragments. Sadly I think this may fall into the too difficult / too messy category!

    The frustration is because for example, I had 9/15 Harry Potter Quidditch page, but everything else was placed, now I prestiged it, because HPQ was 3/3, so I lost those 6 Harry Potter that I had spent plenty potion on. And also I missed those extra 15 Quidditch books from the mission, because I collected them earlier today. So now I have 0/0 HPQ and 0/0 books :(

    I just received an in-game announcement telling me to avoid prestiging pages until I took an update to avoid the rollover bug... just after having prestiged 12 pages.


    Having just lost who knows how many dozen fragments due to the failure to fix the rollover bug before adjusting the targets, I'm currently very upset with the QA on this. If this isn't fixable retroactively, this will significantly color my future relationship with the game.


    Please post an update explaining how Niantic plans to fix this situation.

    The New Update is available at Play Store. Now all the problem are sorted. Relief...!!! But why don't i get AR+ 😔

    @Zifnabthefab WHY is it a big deal you ask?? Because instead if prestiging pages only once because of these change you could potentially be prestiging more than once if these lost fragments were counted correctly.


    Or perhaps you don’t know how frustrating some of things are to get (Doxy is particular, outside of events, only appears in an ever shifting 2-hr window early in the morning when I for one am not normally awake). So I’ve lost sleep, lost parts of life getting some of those fragments and it just feels like I’m being kicked in the face after getting what first appeared to be a treat.


    There are other foundables much rarer and harder/more random to find (Doxy was just the only one I last remembered) and losing those is just throwing salt in my eyes while I’m down...

    Could you please get this warning to everyone as soon as possible!!

    Even if our chosen language isn't English, we will understand. It might prevent others from running into this bad bug as well.

    Free mobile network? Your country is magical. :)

    I walked 3000 km, and spent about 110 EUR on network so far (I use mobile network only for this game). Plus some in-game purchases. Not really needed, but wanted to support the publisher.


    Anyways.... Are we talking about this?


    I see the announcement was made yesterday. For me everything was "normal" until a few minutes ago, and now I saw this, took a video, wanted to report as a bug... And realized, oh, it's a feature. With that strange counter (+-6,-4,-3,-2,0,1) in the end.


    I understand other people's rage. But I also understand, that games in these days have to evolve. I installed PGO after 2,5 years and half of the game was new. Same happened to a few Steam games I play. We have to accept, this is the way games survive.


    On the other hand, I'm not sure if this was the right way and the right time to do this. But I trust the designers and POs. I hope you know, what you are doing.


    For me this week in HPWU was a little bit too much. Lots of changes without in-game announcement (different daily tasks, now this). Vanishing people from dark chambers leaving me (us) in the trouble, I probably will put this game aside, and check back on Monday. I'd still have time to finish the brilliant event.

    It’s not fixed...I just single-prestiged the before mentioned 70/38 Doxy I had after updating everything and it’s back to zero... :/

    This update has reset all of my current foundable counts to either (0) or (1) excluding the current event foundables. So much time and progress is lost, is there anything I can do to bring them back?

    I, for one, welcome the change and appreciate attempts to make the registry item demands follow a more logically process.

    Granted, I state this a "free" player who has not contributed financially to the game. (And if I had, I'd understand that with ANY online game, there are no guarantees that changes won't be made that run counter to "investment". Buyer beware!) While I do have a time investment, it hasn't been so OCD as to chase down fragments to the same level that other players clearly have.

    They fixed all with new update but what about those who already prestige and lost their progress. I hope and wish they'll understand the hardwork of all the players they have done from the beginning till now and how valued they are and do something in this regard asap.

    Surely they must have a back up and would be able to reset affected accounts to before the update. Ok, we’d lose a days progress maybe but much better than being royally shafted by the great fragment f*ck up!

    I prestiged all the pages before update. Lost tons of fragments. I update right now, they still lost.
