I “almost” booked a flight and room...but I heard they have done lottery before for tickets in the past and I didn’t want to pay for lodging/flight if I didn’t have a ticket to the event

You do realize air and hotel prices are going up and availability is going down? I think ticket info is needed like two weeks ago.

This was the mistake that I made already -- I didn't get picked (at least not in the first wave). I'm really nervous.
Phew I did get my invite -- so I will be attending!!!
