My AR+ options have also disappeared. Getting through portkeys are less fun to me. I'll turn off all options to try and get through them but one of the things I really enjoy is looking at all the fun details on the brilliant portkeys.
Very happy with the new page, less so with the changes to the graphics. When earlier this year those new notifications for ingredients etc were introduced, with the black screen en white lettering, rather than the much less obtrusive banner that was used previously, it took away some of the magic of the game. It looks cheap and unfinished, as if nobody cared enough to give it that Potter feel. Now the look of the traces has been changed as well, unfortunately not for the better, that takes away a little bit of the magic as well. Not as much as those black screens for potions etc do, but it does take away from the game a bit.
I realise that changes like these are introduced with the best of intentions and that any changes will always garner mixed reviews, I don't normally comment much on things like that, but just felt I had to say this now, just in case more people feel like I do but forget to say something about the aesthetics because any errors or mishaps in gameplay take priority over how it looks.
To me, how the game looks is important too, as it has the potential to take you into another world for a bit, and the way it previously looked, was more conducive to convincing people to give it a go, than the way it looks now, especially the black screens.
Please bring back the magic, if at all possible, I don't care if it's the old look or a new one, as long as it supports that magical feel of the game. Or at the very least don't take out any more.
There will always be bugs etc with updates, and those bugs will always eventually be worked out and removed, for which we are thankful.
Just please do not forget about the importance of the look and feel of it all.
When I tried to download the update, I am getting an alert that the update/app isn't compatible with my device anymore. Any help would be appreciated. I really don't want to have to buy a new phone to play this game. It's not even 2 years old yet.
Since last update, I'm getting error messages left and right, primarily when brewing tonics. Any suggestions? I've already uninstalled and reinstalled the app on the 2 devices I play on.
I am having a hard time in the fortress close to home. I will use a high powered runestone high up in the fortress, then my partner is not able to enter. We have identical phones, empty our cache, don't run anything else during fortress raids.
So, I'm left in a high level without my partner, and lose my runestone. And time on potions.
Any further information about fortress battling remotely? I had a rare findable, so when I got the message in game. I didnt read it immediately.

This is also the correct place to report bugs. Which leads to faster solutions. The "fix it" team usually doesn't find issues when they are reported in discussion threads.

Except for the darker version of the objects on the map. This change turned HPWU into a hidden object game during daylight. I literally can't see anything. And no, I would not like to pull the brightness on my phone to the maximum.
I hope it meant to be only for night hours, which would make sense. And I hope, their all-day present is just a bug.
If this was done intentionally, then please make a setting and let us chose if we'd like to use the old (lighter) or the new (darker) icons.
@Lucoire the 2.12.1 is where the BUS for remote fortressing. It is in the notes section in play store. Not sure if any other changes overall as havent seen post for the update yet and didnt appear to be changes after I downloaded it. So will let those in the "know" actually state anything else that is new. Wasnt much for new assets compared to other updates to download either. Patiently waiting for the bus icon to get turned on which my guess will start soon with the slow roll out by levels once enough have gotten the update.

Is the "dark" effect just a gamma mismatch?
It must really depend on the phone. TBH on my phone it actually looks sharper and the colors more "crisp" but not to the point of pixilation.
