@hpwulola Thank you for the changes to gameplay to help those in lockdown. I hope a good solution is found regarding collecting gifts as not everyone can visit POIs to get gifts to send, even if they may be able to open more.
I do like some of the suggestions, hopefully something can be implemented soon.
I’m also excited for the reduced portkey distance. Hopefully that will be sorted soon as well.
I haven’t left my house in a while and therefore haven’t collected a single gift to send out and so for all of the people sending me gifts thank you kindly as I am so dependent upon the spell energy right now. I am hoping to be able to leave my house tomorrow so I will try and collect a ton of gifts to send out. 🙏🙏🙏

Can't send any other gifts though. I'm in tight lockdown, since I live with my elderly mom. So I'm unable to visit fortresses or greenhouses. But you can count on spell energy! 😀

@ClairabusGryff , thank you! We are okay here, safe & sane. We try to keep a kind of routine, to make it easier. Playing the HP helps a lot - I'm getting loads of runestones from pages, so when this is all over I'll be battling in a fortress like crazy! That will be fun. I'm also brewing lots of potions. As soon as I have more coins, I'll be able to expand the potions vault again, which is always useful.
Okay, this may be superstitious, but it can't hurt! Several days ago I posted about finding tons of ingredients for TTDs but not being able to find them for Healing Potions. The worst was Bubotuber Pus. Almost immediately after that, I started finding Bubotuber Pus at least a couple of times a day. Now I am having trouble making Dawdle Draughts in preparation for the Mischief event because I can't find Butterscotch. I have already had to buy it three times and it would be nice if I didn't have to spend all of my coins on it! So, in the hopes that it was the power of posting that caused Bubotuber Pus to return to my map, I am posting about the lack of Butterscotch. Crossing my fingers!
Looks like Butterscotch has become a widely sought rarity due to the lockdown. I’ve only come across it twice since being at home - the first time was due to some rare GPS drift occurring, the other a nice random surprise.
It seems as though the forum has a magical connection to the game. The mechanics behind it are yet unknown and have baffled much of the magical community. However, while this connection seems to persist, it doesn’t hurt to post about such things on the forum. You might be left surprised (hopefully pleasantly).
So @Imaginatio I was thinking last night as I was brewing my last Baruffios "darn , I'll have to do a grocery store run and hope I can reach the greenhouse on the way to plant more toadstools"... Then I'm driving to the store today and BAM! Someone had planted a full yield that was just popping!!! I could only reach 8 where I was but still! Magic! I replanted just to return the favor!
Hmmm.. the game seems to be responding to people’s thoughts outside the forum as well in certain instances. I wonder how this magic works... very interesting...🧐
Love the extra energy! Although I noticed that when I am using the Trace potion, no energy or ingredients show up on the map! So I need to build up energy before using this potion.
Enjoy giving & receiving gifts, but this is a mute point since I rarely get to places to pick them up! How about adding gifts to the map or when you level up on the registry or placing an image or all 3!
Another idea: would love to communicate with friends.
Would it be possible to disable the flag function while there are still areas under the shelter-in-place order? I live in an area next to a 9 3/4 flag and the only foundables that pop up are endless Hogwarts School things that I’ve already maxed out. I miss feeling like I can make progress 😭.
@ginadew That is a good suggestion for that exact scenario. I don’t live near a flagged area, but I can imagine how annoying that must be if that’s all you’re getting because you can’t leave your house.

We've made temporary updates to the Daily Tasks.
'Dine at 2 Inns' daily task will be replaced with 'Use 1 Tonic for Trace Detection.'
'Complete 1 Wizarding Challenges' daily task will be replaced with 'Earn 750 Wizarding XP.'
These updates are being rolled out now and should be reflected on your app within the next 1-2 days.
