April Event Calendar

...April Fools joke except I am one day late...
So many of us are stuck at home under different types of quarantine or shelter in place orders so let’s talk about what we would like the April calendar to look like if we were in charge of it.
I want to thank the HPWU team for the event that ended last night. I was so happy to have something to do and tasks to complete it helps my isolation feel less isolating. So more mini events like that would be amazing. And I liked that the rewards were the rare traces of the marauders map. So what if they did another mini event where the reward were the following traces:
- Pickett
- Swooping Evil
- Tom Riddle
- Dumbledore
- Both Newts
- Firenze
- McGonagall
- Sorting Hat
- Any Harry
- the Penseive
Feel free to add who else you would like added as a rare foundables.
And what should the Brilliant event be about?

There are a few on your list I don't have, but I do hope the Marauders pop up more in the future! I still need Newt, Firenze, Swooping Evil, and I believe the Sorting Hat. I like having mini events in between, and this one was fun, but I was hoping to be able to add more books. I have over 500 scrolls at the moment😂
Not gonna lie though, I was really hoping for something about Fred and George! Here's to hoping they pop up somewhere in this month's plans

Ok, I'm teasing, but seriously, that seems like a lot for one event. That's a great list to form the basis of a series of events, though.
I liked the short run format of the marauders event, but 1 more day would have probably helped take the pressure off for a lot of people. And if there had been a reasonable chance for most people to encounter 1-3 each of Grawp and swooping evil then I think the recent event would have been perfect.
Over the course of April they could comfortably fit in 4 3-day events, each one allowing the chance at two or three rare foundables. It would give us something to look forward to from week to week.
I agree @MtPollux four events would be good in April. And have two or three of those traces per event maybe?? That would be awesome.
What about the Brilliant Event? I loved the last one being based on Fantastic Beasts. So what could this months brilliant event be based on?? I know there are some people here with great ideas like @Owlx or @AuroraKadavra
I think it’s a great idea. Mini events that give you something a little bit special.
I also think new sos tasks would be great as you can take your time while still trying to complete challenges.
How about a "You Pick Em" rare reward? Then I could choose the Swooping Evils I need, others in the same event could choose their specially needed rare foundable? Or some variation of that.
Related, when I was first starting out an going through tht earlier events, before I knew the ropes, I ended up missing some event foundables that I assume will never be back. It irks my OCD that I have a (very) few event pages not completed. Perhaps tie in the "You Pick Em" with old event foundables?

Off topic- I've been using the last few days to tackle some round2its. Ya know the one that I don't want to do that now I'll get around to it...later. Anyway.
I'm kinda of in the mood for a laidback month. Or less stressful event.
Something that is a combination of brilliant events and the marauders uneventful event. Yeah, I a little salty I didn't see any Swooping Evil- I only needed 2. Oh well that randomness is part of the game. I'm joyful for anyone who did get a Swooping evil.

Something that can be done at home.
Pick 1 page (that we already have) that doesn't get a lot of love. 1 page per task

Arrange it like the Marauders event, in that each task features a different page you can decide how long to stay on a task based on you in game goals or needs. I liked that self passed part of the Marauders event. ( I think that format works well for a stay at home event)
It also slows the event down. The developers seem to aim for tasks to prolong the events
It could be done so that Part X is done after prestiging the boosted page. Only on prestige per page. Prevents everyone in the game from going to all solid gold pages in 1 event again serves to pace game play.
4 tasks because you know that's the pattern change area flags like Marauder's event
Boost those foundables with a trace tonic
Tasks could be any or all of the following
(so you could pick them up, harvest them, open from a gift or get in a portkey )
(this can be done at home!) AWARD rare ingredients only( hermit crab shell & PDC) LOTS of SE and fortress foundable
Completing the Part award 100 SE 1000 XP Rare ingredients and or an encounter with RANDOM red flare from another page
And no i don't know if that's possible to code. I'm in the creative -HEY how about this can we do this? Can we please do this?- Department- I'm not HOW?! do we do this department.🤣
I LOVE the HOW department they work really hard and are masters of implementing the ideas.
An extra award if you stay with in 1km your home area. The game knows where we are!

And I love your ideas Owl of focusing on a pages we already have with the traces changing as you prestige it or perhaps once u place those foundables if u have fortress frags missing otherwise u could get stuck there. That would be great to make a weeks event focusing on one family and helping us all catch some of the rarer ones. So yeh- defo -what owl said and with a bit longer than the recent event to run into the encounters would be awesome!

One idea for a new page id been thinkin about- and I know its not like we need new ones cos theres loads left to get...brown centaur....I'm lookin at you!! 👀 lol
But it would just be sooooo cute if with spring & April they did a 'babies" page! I know we have baby niffler & baby hippogriff already..... so i was thinking omg how cute would a baby mooncalf be!! ? And baby centaur, baby unicorn, baby graphorn etc....oooooh!! Baby demiguise!!! Ooooh cutey overload!! Ooooh wait!!! Baby Zowou!!! Oh could go on for ages!! ❤😱😃

@Owlx and @AuroraKadavra you two never fail with your amazing ideas so thank you. I am not very left brained so don’t have good ideas. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE the idea of a babies page. That would be adorbs!!! So thank you for that.

Doesnt Newt squeeze it from a sort of cocoon plant type thing into a vial? Its toxin or something that has obliviate properties? So the concept art of whats inside the cocoon i think would be awesome!
Yay!! Isolation just got more fun!! Ive still some designs to work on for @Milliebob13 yet, but im sure she won't mind me putting that on hold to draw a few baby creature ideas!
@Bormacska i get what you mean about the mooncalves, and they are already soooo cute!!! But I've taken it as that is the name of the creature- so there'll be adult & baby mooncalves? Otherwise the adults are moons? Lol - i think just for the shher cuteness of it we can make it a thing!!

It gave me an idea for an encounter, but it’s like a portkey location, and the world flips upside down like it does for Harry in the maze! S o many possibilities!
Since this month is sort of magizoo based what about a Portkey that we into Newt’s suitcase?
