New resources - no warning

As already happened once in October 2019, a huge amount of my mobile data got used up today because the app just downloaded all new resources in the background without warning or notification. Since I was not at home all day it used up 675 MB of my mobile data which is more then one fifth of my monthly volume.
I would really appreciate some kind of warning or notification before the app sneakily starts using up tremendous amounts of mobile data.

Still it would be nice to have some warning or information before the game does that behind my back.
