Anyone else having trouble finding tonic for trace ingredients

I can't get past assignment number 2 of this brilliant event because I can't find a tonic for trace ingredient. Im not in a rural area and usually find tons of ingredients. Anyone else having this odd problem?

not with tonic but baruffio yes. I can usually pick up frog brains at least
