I’ve noticed I’ve started to get essential and extravagant runestones when I play higher chambers. Some gifting came out when I’ve never had them but last week I managed to get some time to play higher chambers (sometimes it’s a few quite low level ones) and I had quite a few.
@HKR84 yes i did the same put my code on I think a bit ago and one day on the thread for the gift challenge and got about 30 people that day so i quickly removed it from there, i got them within the hour to edit it!! Lol.
I always accept request, would feel so rude not to!!
But as u and @Magpie31 say, once it gets near 100 its almost impossible to manage because you feel so awful taking at lthe very least 10 days to get to someones gift, if not more when you are opening ones from friends u have known a good while & opening the extravagant ones with baruffio going it can take 2wks or more. So that makes me feel like those people will start to hate me! Honestly!! Like theyl think 'oh fine don't bother opening my gift i sent you weeks ago!! I see how it is!!' And so i feel awful 😱
I just really hope they will increase the number we can open soon!!
@hpwulola & @HPWUrobert do you know has the massive amount of feedback got back to those who control it that we are all begging to be able to open more gifts per day because of how awful its making us feel leaving gifts unopened for weeks? Sorry to tag u on this but just wondered if u kno if theyve got the message- nearly every thread has a few comments begging for it to be increased?
Ps- if it helps, i did a ruins 5 recently and got an essential runestone gift. So that is great for a low level where i dont use potions & barely any spell energy- will be trying that again to see if was a one- off.
Cool!! So sticking to ruind 5 and perhaps under can still give fab gifts when u are saving potions for a meet up/sponsored fortress later in the week. That's fab!

I haven’t been able to secure any extravagant gifts in about 5 days now so I am working on it. I will get some today! Positive thinking and all!! MANIFESTING EXTRAVAGANT GIFTS TODAY AND THE WHOLE WEEK!!
@ClairabusGryff sadly I haven’t picked up any extravagant gifts in a few days either. My usual hot spots have been low return quite suddenly so I may try hitting some outside my regular route and see if that helps. I love being able to gift extravagant (or even essential!).

I May try to change up my routine as well! See what happens. But since I have been off work for the holidays (I went in for two days) my leaping toadstool pool is down to 2. So I really need to do some planting and harvesting. I only ever plant leaping toadstools and on average plant around 4-6 a day. But over the past two weeks I was never able to go and collect them. So I know a lot of people got some toadstools. I plant 2-3 in the morning on my way to work and then 2-3 on my way home. So if I time my commute correctly I can pick up 4-6 daily. But that is a rare day that happens. I can’t rightly leave a meeting at work because my toadstools are ready? Or can I? I have stopped putting any SE to increase the yield as I was never getting what I paid for. So I just do the one go.

I’m in the same boat it’s taking me ages to open gifts still have ones from the 12 days which I don’t think I’ve opened slowly starting to clear down my list with people who haven’t been active, it’s been difficult to stay on top of gifting as well as I can’t pick up enough gifts to send hoping to get back into a normal routine now and get the list a bit more manageable 😊

My clinicals are killing me so thank you to all on my friends list for sending me gifts even though I cannot send anything back. No more hanging out at Starbucks and getting xp/daily achievements/gifts. Thanks for sticking with me. Hopefully things will slow down soon.

Yeah, I was bummed out when I noticed they had 'fixed' the extravagant gifts on Inns. It seems like the greenhouse outside my home has been awarding less of the special ingredient gifts, as well. Oh well, it was a good run, but I guess sending/receiving mostly basic gifts will have to be the new norm.
Honestly, that doesn't seem terribly unfair, and it's probably how I would have implemented gifting from the beginning instead of starting off very generous then cutting it back later. Granted, it's easy for me to stand on the sidelines and play Captain Hindsight, but still.

@Yohanes12 The gifts are random - except for "sponsored", you get these from sponsored Fortresses.

I’m finding it really hard to get Extravagant Spell Energy gifts for others since the latest update. No more sitting on an inn for an hour I suppose.
@Dewin99 nope, they shifted the pattern back to every 5 minutes on inns that gift generation switches

I haven’t found a Potent Exstimulo gift for three weeks. Sponsored runestone gifts are the best that I can manage to give at the moment.
Update: still waiting on a solution for this one. Logging out and back in every time I want to check for gifts is a bit frustrating lol

@Keybounce on your friends list click at the bottom right where it says Gifts to Send.
