I’m not sure if this will be true for everyone’s location, but the AT&T store near me has a super nice Inn. Almost all the choices give a lot of energy. I guess they are sponsors of the game, because they have a special message as well: “Faster than the Nimbus 2000! Capture the magic on Americas best network! Come inside for everything you need to power you’re a wizarding adventure. See a rep for more details.”

I get that for EE stores here in the UK. If you go in, you can get a PopSocket of one of the Hogwarts Houses. But I already got one several months ago, so I haven't bothered. Given it's AT&T in the US, it may only mean a discount on the cost. Not sure.

My local EE store has that as well, lets you get a PopSocket at 50% of their retail price.

I read a news article that sounds like eventually there may be specific quests that are completed by visiting these sponsor locations that you can’t get in other places.
Madashi Kawashima, executive producer in Niantic, has affirmed that the sponsors' inn have great output of energy in his tweet.
I work at an AT&T store and I love it because my energy stays full and fellow wizards stop by all the time and place dark detectors so I get to take advantage of that and level up quickly :)
Plus people say I look just like Daniel Ratcliff so they tell other wizards to go to the AT&T store that Harry Potter works at lol.
