@KateSpadee you need to actually walk in the real world. You will have a chance to pick up ingredients, visit inns and greenhouses and battle in fortresses all while returning foundables to where they belong.
At this time the only places you can visit, as far as I know, are Hagrid's cottage, Olivander's and Borgin and Burkes. These are accessed by portkeys. You can get a portkey by picking up a portmanteau and walking to unlock it with a key.
So you really need to lace up those walking shoes and get out there! Have fun!

Being on the bus or in a car counts as walking - just don't try to play when driving (as I don't drive, I have the time to watch the km add up).
