What are the invitations for?

I am still getting invitations from inns. Any idea whst they are for and should we be collecting as many as we can? Anyway to tell how many we have? I've completed the tasks for week 1 of the event and just wondering if i need to collect more.

If you do not collect 1000 invitations by tomorrow, Grawp will eat you. You can see how many you have by checking that one drawer in your kitchen that has a bunch of utensils you’ll never use.

how did you get the invites from the greenhouses? I can only get them from inns.
The greenhouses are not 100% drop rate so you might need to mine several greenhouses to find your invites for that task. I got lucky and found a greenhouse that was consistent in dropping invites with an inn and fortress nearby. So I "harvested" every 5 minutes to get through the task. Hope this helps. 😊
Luckily with have a park with 8 green houses and we had to hit each one multiple times to get them all.
@Radicaldav - you do not need more yule ball invites (YBI) if you have finished all 4 tasks. the bonus assignment does require 30 more YBI from brilliant traces, should you decide to pursue it.

I found if you have full spell energy the greenhouses will give you the invite every time...or I just got extremely lucky 🤣👍
